Energy Work Massage

I have had many massages and in my experience, I have to say that what Narelle offers and performs is by far, the best. Her professionalism cannot be faulted and I have always found that she will always do the type and kind of massage that you request. Narelle is amazing is finding any misalignments in the body and resetting whatever may be needed. Narelle was recommended to me by several people who see her regularly, and I can understand why now. I will definitely be making regular appointments also. :)

I am not writing this review as an angry customer, I am writing this because I don’t want anyone else to be in the same situation as me. I called to make a booking and told her I need it deep and she told me she could do this. I said again before the treatment began, my tension is deep seated so I need it very deep. I requested deeper while she was working on me and in my opinion, she is unable to do deep tissue at all. I have been a remedial massage therapist myself for 12 years so I know what deep tissue is and isn’t. She definitely has knowledge on muscle testing and I believe if you have superficial tension or prefer light pressure she could probably deliver a great treatment. But if you are after deep tissue, my experience is that you will not be satisfied. This was the first massage I’ve ever ended and my main disappointment is that I specifically told her what I needed and she told me she could do it, but that wasn’t the case.

I highly recommend Narrelle. Her high level of training is evident in the way she can diagnose key areas that need attention. Her knowledge of lymphatic drainage massage has helped me immensely with only one session. Best money I've ever spent on healthcare and I look forward to many more sessions.

I would not recommend energy works to anyone who has any spinal or back issues.Before the session I explained that I had had massive trauma, fractures, displaced discs and shattered sacrum several years ago, however Narelle (masseuse) decided to get up on the table and kneel on my glutes putting her whole body weight on my lower back & sacrum causing massive pain and triggering old trauma in my spine. SHE DID NOT WARN ME SHE WAS DOING THIS. I WOULD HAVE SAID NO IF SHE HAD THE DECENCY TO ASK ME.Narelle completely dismissed the information I had informed her with about my spine and previous injuries when she decided to apply her whole body weight to my lower back.Narelle does not have the training or expertise to be working with anyone with spinal issues.She also offered to crack my thoracic spine (did not happen) which she also is NOT a qualified chiropractor.I came to energy works for a deep tissue massage which is all I wanted.Did she try and call me to see if I was okay? NOThere are plenty of massage places in Port Macquarie, avoid this one.

A great experience of how massage should be done. Rather than a tokenistic body rub, Narelle administered a therapeutic and diagnostic massage that actually identified specific problem areas with a view to healing and moving forward. I would recommend Narelle to anyone who is seriously interested in long term results through the expertise of a highly trained therapist.

Narelle is the best health professional anyone could want. She has an understanding of the body and how to remedy problems that would put most doctors to shame. As I walk away from her rooms I begin to feel lighter and so much more subtle, confident, balanced and even younger.
