Marios Italian Restaurant
We keep on coming back every time we’re up in Broadbeach because the food is so good. Service was good, only thing missing was some water for the table but considering how busy the restaurant was it wasn’t a big deal. Had the mussels which were amazing! Everyone else tried different pastas and all agreed they were very nice.Well worth a visit.

We were welcomed and nicely accommodated by Belle. She recommended good food too! We ordered a medium-sized pizza, pasta, and salad.Great taste and service! Special thanks to Belle for making this a memorable experience!Highly recommending this place!

The gluten free pizzas (+$5 extra for GF) here are amazing. Crispy base and great taste. Fettucine carbonara ($32) was rich and creamy. Serving was quite big and filling. Atmosphere was good and staff were friendly.

The portion sizes were generous and the food was tasty. Between my husband and myself we had the chicken, Mushroom, potato and sweet chilli sauce pizza (pic included) which was good. I had the mushroom risotto (no pic), to be honest it was wayyyyyy too salty. Wouldn't recommend due to that even though it was nice otherwise.I can't recall exactly what the dishes were, but our friends enjoyed there's(Pics included).

Mario's is a fast paced authentic Italian restaurant with stunning food and an on point staff. Our waiter, Léo (from France) was an attentive delight. The food was excellent and the house-made gnocchi made my night. The Italian salad with feta was perfectly balanced and everything we had was just as sublime. Big portions and tasty drinks, pizza and gelato make Mario's a great place for a wonderful night on the Gold Coast.

Ordered the “Mario’s Fritos Misto” (seafood platter) was told the platter was enough for 4. With 6 Half Moreton Bay bugs (3 whole).It came out with 3 half bugs.First we tried the baby octopus, they were very chewy, not charred but soggy and chewy. When I explained to the waitress she went and got the manager Taylor who then said she would talk to the chef. She came back and said, that’s how they’re meant to be that’s how our customers like it.Fish was over cooked and dry, scallops were soupy (see photos) and the muscles tasted like canned tomato soup.The bugs tasted boiled not grilled.The calamari was cooked well though, nice fresh oysters, and the chips were hot and fresh.Overall very disappointing and the manager was no help at all she just kept saying “I’ll go back to the chef” not good enough.Hubby not a seafood fan and had the steak. It was chewy and had lots of sinew in the steak. Cheap quality.

Excellent customer service, delicious food and a nice setting.By far the nicest meal we have had at any Broadbeach eatery.We shared a pizza Zingara and the Chicken Avocado and struggled to finish but didn't want to leave anything on the plate. Couldn't fault anything and wish we lived closer so we could make this a regular luxury.The owner/manager should be proud of his staff and their dedication to customers.

Very good service, solid food offering most of the dishes you would expect in an Italian restaurant. The best dish for our table was the fettuccine carbonara. Good size serving.
