I'm forced to give this place 1 star in order to post! Miserable staff, rude staff, miserable atmosphere. Every other shop in Kalamunda I have been in has friendly helpful staff that make Kalamunda a great place to live and visit. Thank goodness it's most unlikely a visitor would need to use this Post Office otherwise Kalamunda tourism would get a big black mark !!!!!

Extremely rude staff. I got a txt msg from Australia post advising my parcel was there, went to collect it and lady couldn't find it. No eye contact at all, grumpy demeanor, she said cone back tomorrow. Don't even want to go back to pick up my parcel. Disgraceful. Note to manager there are plenty of people looking for a job and 100% of them would have a better attitude than some of your current employees.

Beyond frustrating! If you have a business in Kalamunda Central make sure you don’t use your shop address as they are not going to deliver even if you have a mailbox! I discovered they were actually returning to sender. I had no clue . I have been investigating the case for 2 months and all I got as reply was denying I had a mailbox! They cannot be bothered walking up a street or reading the names on the mailboxes in the shopping centre! Absolutely shocking!!!

As a local I have been using this post office for 40 years. In all that time the staff have always been cheerful, friendly and professional. Just this week the staff offered great service in chasing down a parcel and letting me know by phone that they had located it and it was ready to collect. A great community asset staffed by community minded people.

Not going to lie the second you walk in this place you can feel the drained energy and miserable mood from the staff, would of given a 1 star if it wasn't for the younger staff member who works here, not sure how she manages to keep working there in my opinion ar least she was polite.One of the older staff was quite rude to an old lady who couldn't hear very well I was moments away from saying something. I HATE when Australia post brings my packages here, always a bad experience.

Very rude staff (lady) that works here, avoid at all costs. Seems to bend the rules for people, requested to come back with ID (rightfully so) only to see other customers come through (to the same person) and be told it’s ok? 1 star for getting my package eventually. Not the first bad experience unfortunately.

Nothing has changed they still have poor customer service.After delivery person failing to deliver my parcels.I get phone call from manager saying to come pick them up now as they are big and taking up room? What do you expect...When telling her I work full time it will have to wait until 3pmShe huffed and puffed moaned and whined.This was all in same day.Avoid Australia Post if you can.

Jay at Kalamunda Post Office went above and beyond to help me lodge expedited passport claims for my sons last Friday. They were very short staffed and had 4 separate people trying to lodge claims, along with a steady queue for normal P/O business. It was 4.30 when I got there. I was asked to wait - he and his colleague (didn't get his name) stayed open after closing to get my claims completed. He was so friendly & apologetic that we had to wait. Thank you for being amazing Jay.

The manager Michelle is absolutely horrible! She is sarcastic and couldn't care less! She didn't want to help me, rolled her eyes and smirked at making it hard to collect my parcel. I have been coming here for 6 years and the other ladies are lovely, but coming across Michelle was disheartening and upset my whole morning. I lodged a complaint with head office and will be following up.

Mostly friendly, but when the Passport photo facility was down, there was no apology and the friendliness went out the window. Perhaps she was just sick of affirming to people, that the Passport photo facility not operating meant they couldn't do other identity documents either - but it didn't need to be so curt
