Panacea Estate

On April 1, we went to the Harvest festival at Panacea and we had an absolutely amazing time.We started with a bottle of the sparkling wine, which was delicious. Very refreshing on a warm day in the sun.We were then shown through the vineyard, where we learned a little about the grapes, harvesting and pruning. It was all very interesting.Following that, we headed back up to the cellar door where we were soon stomping the grapes, which was great fun.We ordered more wine (HIGHLY recommend the shiraz as it’s amazing) and the wonderful entertainment soon started. And what great entertainment it was!We enjoyed the delightful platter and the wines (and took some home of course).In the late afternoon there was quite a crowd, and everyone was having a fabulous time.Thank you to everyone at Panacea. It was an awesome day and we look forward to our next visit.For anyone out this way, do yourselves a favour and head to Panacea. You will not regret it.

We come to this beautiful winery to take some wedding photos on our special day. Peter was great to deal with, friendly and nothing was a hassle. It was a bonus that the wines were great as well! My pick was the 2019 Shiraz.

Had a group of 30 odd come through with very late notice on NYE and the team at Panacea were more than hospitable. Great wine and a pretty vista. Add to the list if you’re looking for a relaxed, super down to earth, approachable and comfortable environment to drink and chat about cool wine related stuff.

My partner and I took a trip up to see Maldon and checked out Panacea Estate, and we were thoroughly surprised by the vineyard and hospitality. The cellar door has a pleasant hillside view and in warmer weather you could happily sit outside and enjoy more of the scenery as there is a reservoir lake on the border of their property.Iona gave a detailed wine tasting and also gave us a some background on the wines, history of the vineyard and what the owner has planned for the future. Would happily come back on our next trip through

Down to earth vineyard where you can taste the wine, meet the owner, enjoy the big blue Australian sky. Tips ~ order a cheese platter before your trip.Oh ~ and you can bring your dog!Really great place. Can’t wait to go back

Good people, good wine. Liked the Panacea Shiraz. Enjoyed the trip from Melbourne, took the dog. Great to be able to talk to Pete, the owner. Great view over the lake. Was good to have a go at grape picking as well. Sorry to miss the Harvest Festival, looking forward to visiting again soon. Looking forward to taking some overseas guests later in the year. Really down to earth place.

I was incredibly lucky to get a sneak peak at the newest winery in Central Victoria, Panacea Estate. What a hidden GEM!Panacea Estate has possibly the BEST views in the entire region - sitting on 100 acres and overlooking a stunning lake, this venue is going to be a bustling hub of happiness. Not to mention, the most perfect place for a wedding!New owner, Peter, took me through a wine tasting; 3 types of Shiraz, Cab Sauv and a Semillon (which I'd never had before and it was amazing!) and they were delish! There is also promise of some new varietals that will be more fitting for spring and summer - Rose and a sparkling! Watch out!Although they officially open in September 2021, the concept is really thoughtful - a place to sip, play and enjoy, with promises of being able to bring your own picnic rugs, enjoying locally supplied cheese platters, games of croquet and giant jenga, and even some local live music! It sounds like it is just what the region has needed!Keep your eye on this one! It's going to be an incredible venue!
