Salvos Stores Mitcham

I’ve only gone here a couple times and they do have some gems that are really cool esp for y2k or trendy tiktok outfits but the prices are a bit ridiculous compared to any other salvos I’ve been to. There’s no sizing difference, everything’s all jumbled together and again, the prices are a lot higher. The cashier lady is also quite rude to innocent buyers and always makes snarky comments to me and appears annoyed and mad. I really love this salvos but because of their prices and one of their employees, I most likely won’t be returning again

Not much parking, prices can be a bit expensive, plenty of stock

I carried two massive heavy bags of stuff to donate here, walked into the shop as there's no bins outside. The lady at the counter asked me straight away Have you checked in? I'm gonna get you to check in and see if you are double vaxxed."I was in shock

Great store, I visit this one regularly, they often have great bits and pieces. I found Alana Fairchild Isis oracle at fantastic value, it has become my favourite one, found some rare books where I was going to order for over 100 bux overseas but got it here for a couple of dollars. Also, a friend of mine bought a new matrass as they moved from overseas and their luxury matrass was on the boat ... They threw the luxury matrass away and kept the matrass bought there instead. Great store and the staff is awesome.

Very overpriced. Books here are as much as $7. In other mitcham op shops literally 200m away books are $1-$2.Also I once had an Ikea coffee table...probably $150 brand new in about year 2000. I sold it in about 2010 for $30. I saw the same one in this shop in 2023 for $70. Pricing is insane. Facebook marketplace is better.

I'm a keen op shopper and have found some gems of salvo stores to shop at unfortunately this is not one of them. Most items are overpriced and finding a park can be frustrating here. I realize most staff working here are volunteers but I waited at the counter for what seemed like ages before a young girl came to the counter and then I still had to ask for help.It's a shame as this store has potential but unless you have plenty of spare cash I would give this a miss. eg it's a sure sign a place is overpriced when you can buy t shirts cheaper at Kmart.If the management read this I would suggest you go visit the salvos store in mooroolbark, for despite it being a small store it is prices are reasonable and staff seem to realise that most customers who shop at salvos do not have much money.
