OPSM Casuarina

Very poor customer service. Do not recommend this place. The guy and I agreed to book me in for a day and he erroneously booked me for the following week. When I went there for the first one, I realised it. Then, I checked the second day whether my booking is available and found it was cancelled.The guy who serviced me was sort of confused all the time and seemed like he didn't know what he was doing.

I bought myself a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses from Sunglass Hut Casuarina and they referred me to OPSM Casuarina to get my prescription lens fitted. I walked over to OPSM and waited to be seen, a male staff member told me to “come back in 2 hours (that’s when another staff member came in) because he was too busy, working by himself and dealing with fittings”. This was my first interaction with OPSM.I came back another day and I saw the female Store manager who proceeded to tell me that “it wasn’t going to be a quick quote, it’ll take about 20 mins”. I said that was fine - I’m happy to do that. After sitting with her for 20mins, she proceeded to tell me that installing my prescription in to my new Ray Bans would cost me over $500.00! I immediately said no thanks. She asked me what I thought that I’d be paying and I said, oh I guessed about $100.00. She then told me “oh, you’re kidding yourself if you think it’d cost only $100.00”! I couldn’t believe the way she scoffed at me!I drove straight to Specsavers at Hibiscus Centre and paid $199.00 INCLUDING polarisation! I’ll never step foot in to OPSM again - they’ve certainly got a “holier than thou” attitude

The prescription glasses we received for my daughter was wrong. I was disappointed because we trusted that we received the right prescription of glasses. We learned about this after our current check up with the other branch. The doctor informed us that on the record, the latest prescription done was 350 but the glasses she currently wearing was 175. My daughter will not know if the new glasses was the new prescription glasses. We can only confirm the type of frame. She is a kid and that will not help with her eye health. This is to raise awareness as well to parents to double check the glasses they received. I paid $420 out of my pocket and that was happen.

Very poor customer service. Both my husband and I have been going there for years but NEVER again. My husband has heart problems and the last thing we need to do is sit in a public waiting area in the midst of carona virus. We had two appointments 12.30 for my husband and 1 for me. We got there at 12 to book in and went away to take care of a few things and returned five minutes early for his appointment. We waited 15 minutes then asked how much longer to which we were told not long. A couple of minutes later we realised that one of the optometrists was there having her lunch. While I appreciate that everyone has a right to a lunch break I do not appreciate what she said to my husband when he asked if she was the optometrist who was supposed to do his appointment. She said yes but that there is another one as well. He made a comment very nicely that perhaps they shouldn’t book people in over lunch if they can’t service them. To which he was told not to be rude. He was certainly NOT rude. We left and won’t be back. Went up to optical superstore where we met a delightful lady.

The optometrist was brilliant very helpful and professional definitely the best one Ive been to.Unfortunately when it came time to chose my glasses that's when it all went south.The 3 sales assistant must think serving customers isnt a priority as standing talking amongst themselves, they saw me looking around not one bothered to ask if I needed any help.First and last time I will go to that shop.*,I did go back there 2 days later on a Saturday morning because I really needed my new glasses, I was expecting the same service as the previous time but to my suprise I got the service I was expecting the first time , the lady was really helpful in helping me picking the glasses I needed.If I had got the service first time I was there I would of given a 5 star rating without a doubt, Im not going to change my rating now because that lack of service and care to a customer need is unforgivable.

Excellent customer service, the shop always looks great and inviting. They are professional in every way, and a very good range of frames, I found exactly what I was looking for, and it was a very efficient process to book in, have my eyes tested, and then have them fitted. this is the best Optometry store I have experienced. A1 all round

Best eye care crew in Darwin. My son needed an eye test that became a bit more complicated but the Store Manager, Lee and Optometrist Darren went above and beyond to look after my boy. Thankyou guys, you're amazing.

Been there on two seperate occasion and both times my products have been delayed, not ordered, sent away like a whole week late. Never get the same story from two different employees. Utterly frustrating experience everytime. It might just be easier to live with blurry vision instead of dealing with this store.In a hilarious update. It’s taken 4 years for the manager to copy/ paste a response to this review which hilariously sounds consistent with their standard turn around times.

I lost my glasses and as a customer of OPSM I ordered a new pair. I got a really great deal and the glasses have arrived already for pickup. Great staff and speedy service 11/10.
