Dog friendly beach. Signs by the carpark are confusing, it has a no dogs sign but under it poop bags available

What a dreadful, dirty place. Bodies lying around in rubbish. The Byron Shire Council should be ashamed of what it is NOT doing for decaying Byron Bay. Public toilets and shop front footpaths are filthy. Roads up to lighthouse full of pot holes and someone needs to groom the sand on the beach.

This was a great place to chill and feel all the vibes of the the surfing mentality of Byron Bay! Great location to go for a swim, a picnic and even watching the sunset!

Like everything else in Byron these days, over crowded and over rated, still worth a look I guess but the good old days have certainly moved on from the whole town.

Very relaxing place to enjoy the beautiful beach of Byron Bay. It is a crowded place, but plenty of carparks are also available.
