Faisan Estate Wines

Faisan is 1 of only 5 really top-end wine producers in Orange (IMHO). Sure, there are well-known large producers like Ross Hill or Printhie, but Faisan, Canobolas Smith (sadly not producing wine any more), Bloodwood, De Salis and Patina are where the quality is. Faisan are priced well for the level of their wines. Their Shiraz is a perennial standout, with character and individualism you only get from boutique producers. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and an essential visit if you are a wine lover. They have a Cellar door in Lord’s Place in town too, but it’s not always open!

Very disappointing. Area designated for tasting was uncomfortable and unkept. Although being a small winery, we found the wines were over priced and under whelming. Wouldn't recommend.
