Harry Potter & the Cursed Child store

I was fortunate enough to watch this show with a friend who is also a fan of Harry Potter series.The stage presentation and the professionalism of the actors were impeccable. However, the performance lasted for three and a half hours, including an intermission, which felt a bit too long for me.Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The show is definitely something worth seeing especially if you’re a Harry Potter fan. Get in before they close in July. High quality acting and special effects.I’ve seen both versions of the play and loved it. Took my kids there second time around (ages 11 to 14). But I did prefer the older version split into two plays. The shorter version missed a lot of build-up and connection between the relationship between two key characters that I felt was lacking, making the story less powerful, and the villain less villainous.

Firstly the effects were amazing - so cool to see the magic come to life with some baffling effects that get you thinking ‘how did they do that?!’I was a bit disappointed as it had been hyped so much. Man Harry is a whiner. The pacing of the condensed version felt off and all of the dialogue felt sped up and often difficult to understand. I feel like there were important scenes that were cut.Ron was excellent as was Draco, but I got a bit of Dawson’s Creek vibes from the other characters.At the end of the day, it’s Harry Potter and a good night out so would recommend seeing it once. But I wouldn’t go back and see it a second time.

AMAZING! Great theatre to host the play, good actors and the visual effects were STUNNING! I do agree that some dialogues were a bit longer than they should be but overall I had a great experience and a really good time! I would definitely recommend this theatre act to every potter head out there!

Amazing! The special effects, the cast everything. I want to do a shout out to the person who played Myrtle and the person who played Draco Malfoy, everyone was amazing but these two were extremely accurate and a lot of fun to watch.

Amazing. The acting was great and the special effects on the magic was sooo good and clever for a theatre performance. Was my first Broadway show and wasn't disappointed. You have no issues with hearing the actors since the sound comes from the speakers and all the seats actually have a good view of the stage. I watched footage of other shows and I'm not really into singing and was happy when I found out it wasn't a musical. The story was very well written too. If you are a Harry Potter fan and want a continuation of the story this is a must see.

An amazing show! We took our 2 children (aged 9 & 11) and they both loved it too! We’re still talking about the special effects and the “magic” in the show and we’d all happily go again! Highly recommended!!
