Great service from this gorgeous couple. I had the seafood surprise and a piece of garfish today..The squid rings were succulent, cooked to perfection. The chips were thick which is good. The salad was fine but I wasn't coming here for salad. If I was I'd like to see a bit of grated carrot or something to add some colour. The prawns were tasty and finally the locally caught garfish was delicious. There are 3 types of locally caught fish here including flake and whiting.Would certainly revisit this place. Sure you gotta wait a few minutes for the food but it beats food from the giants any day.Revisited for just the minimum of chips today (Feb 2nd), still my favorite style chips across town and I love that they use locally sourced salt which we can also be purchased separately.

I put a phone order through and the gentleman took my order was very rude. I spelt out the order at the end and repeat 3 times. However, when I received the order, it was wrong. Instead of grilled as I requested all food were deep fried and didn't include any condiments like tartar sauce or lemon. Even when I went to pay and get my order, the staff didn't pay attention. I will not go there again. I wish I don't have to give even 1 star.

Came up from Adelaide with my lovely wife, the lady that served us was friendly & informative . Fish & chips were really nice. Not greasy, cooked fresh, old school fish & chips, equally impressive service. We would recommend them.

Worst fish n chips ive ever had!Whiting was nice but $7+ for minuscule piece = 3 bitesFat was so hot when chips hit it they were 10 seconds away from charcoal.Selling the business obviously because of complete lack of interest reflected in service"."

Just spent $70 here, and the quantity was poor, the fish and the chips were burnt, the chicken munchies felt and tasted stale, the burger was all soggy and ended up throwing 3 quarters of the food away. 1st and last time I will be coming here. Very disappointed

Not bad fish and chips. Looks like oil could do with a change. Friendly service.

We searched online for the best fish & chips in Whyalla supposedly the start of the seafood trail. We could not eat the food they prepared the chips tasted like they were days old and been reheated, they only had 4 pieces of local fish all was pre battered and it was so oily and stale oil to boot that we could not eat it.How hard is it ??? Waste of money and left a bad taste in our mouths literally.
