Beaumont Tiles Trade Central Rochedale

I waited at home all day today for tiles to be delivered, as arranged last week. I cancelled an important appointment to make sure I would be available to receive the tiles. Tiles were not delivered and there was no contact to explain. I rang the office number after 4 pm twice and there was no answer. Very dissatisfied with the nondelivery.

I would just like to start by saying the staff, particularly in the Ipswich store were all extremely helpful. My problem lies with the policy Beaumonts have with charging a fee for picking an order. So we are helping renovate my 88 year old mother’s bathroom - she was 1 box short of wall tile which we needed as the tiler was starting the job in a day or so. Ipswich had to order them in from Rochedale so I said I was happy to go down myself and collect the 1 box ($29.95 a Sqm). But alas no I had to pay a fee to have them picked because apparently someone has to stop the job there on to get on a forklift to pick 1 box of tiles, so I ended up having to pay $98 for the 1 box of tiles she needed. Is that not their job to serve the customer. So not only did I have to drive down to collect them ( for which I was happy to do because we desperately needed them for the tiler to start work) but then my mum was slugged a huge fee for someone to get 1 box off a shelf.

Just arrived to be told it’s appointment only, would be really good if this was stated on your web sight, was diverted to the Springwood store! A bit poor if you ask me.

I waited at home for a whole day, but there was no delivery, no phone greeting and no message prompt. Such a big company exposed many management problems and poor consumption experience, and I would not introduce it to my friends anyway

I visited the trade centre today the 3rd of March to purchase and pickup part of my order. The store wasn't overly busy, but service was slow. When I was served the gentleman had very little knowledge of the tiles he was selling from the amount of adhesive I would need to get or the weight of the tiles, it states clearly on the counter and on all the walls around the building about chain of responsibility which includes weight of load. I had to guess how much I could bring. I spoke to the gentleman driving the forklift who kindly said it wouldn't be a problem to get the weight of the 30m2 which was 600kgs, I asked him would it be any problem to increase to 40 m2 he said no problem at all. I just needed to get docket changed, unfortunately the gentleman serving wasn't at all happy and protested that it was now in picking. I had to explain that the gentleman picking it said it was no problem he reluctantly done it. Please provide your employees with some customer relation training and more importantly chain of responsibility training as it's their job to know the weights before giving out docketsRegardsMichael

Doing a renovation can be stressful enough but having someone providing advice together with discounts goes a long way to helping. Cannot say enough how much we appreciate the help from Mandy Butler at the Loganholme branch.

Wish I could rate less than one star! Purchased tiles through our local store. Tiles were delivered from the warehouse at Rochedale on the 9th June. The tiler started the job on the 28th June & discovered one box of tiles with chipped corners (4 tiles). When he unwrapped the box all the tiles were broken. I attempted to get a box of replacement tiles. Sent them photos but they wanted more photos. They finally came up with can't replace these because delivery was more that 2 weeks ago". Happy ending through

We went to the Trade Centre to pick up our tile order and purchase supplies for a home renovation project. Tim at the Trade Centre was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend heading to the Trade Centre for supplies.

Useless. If you need something in a hurry, forget it. When I say a hurry I waited 1.5 hours and was then told we can't pick your stock for another 1.5 hours. I would say the place is run by monkeys, but I think even monkeys would have been quicker.
