The White Hart Hotel is the place to go for amazing food, beer n great atmosphere when travelling to Murrurundi NSW, I would recommend going there over anywhere else for quality n quantity n very reasonably priced

My partner and I are up fromMelbourne, we drove from central coast sydney, when I told Them We are doing a road trip and we said first stop was Tamworth, his wife said you need to try the pub on the way, it was the best pub meal we have ever had. Steaks melt in your mouth like butter. I had the rump cooked medium rare! It was OMG.THE BEST! If your looking for amazing pub meals this is the place to try. Staff where friendly

We had lunch on our way through town and it was so beautiful sitting outside over looking the lawn and mountains with the breeze blowing through the trees, it was serene! The service was friendly and food arrived quickly and tasted pretty good too. Definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area!

Excellent little country pub with indoor & outdoor eating areas. Rooms with unsuits and off road parking. Excellent menu with lots of options and live music

No pasta, at all, or lamb cutlets at 6 pm dinner time due to running out from the lunchtime crowd, was disappointing. However, the meals such as the old-time classic snitty are a good size, and were a big hit.Their cocktails are worth trying too.

We stopped in for lunch on Sunday the 2nd of April and I know it was busy being it was the Kite Festival but I ordered the Flathead, chips and vegetables we waited well over an hour and my meal came out and it was 6 chicken nugget and some chips, the girl said there isn't any flathead. When the other plates came out I said I ordered Flathead chips and vegetables so I did get a bowl of vegetables. My Husband had Rissole and Mash and the Rissole wasn't cooked properly, our daughter ordered the Chicken Caesar salad which looked terrible she couldn't eat it. Hopefully if we go again it will be a lot better.

We stayed at White Heart to break up our long drive between Sydney and Brisbane. The owners and staff are lovely, the room was clean and comfortable. Hot water in the shower was a little unreliable. We were lucky to arrive on a Saturday when there was a little party going on downstairs with a dj. We had a fun evening with the other guests until midnight when the music stopped and the staff told us not to worry about the checkout time.Thanks for a great stay!

Superb country pub in beautiful historic Murrurundi. We were recommended to stop here for the stunning beer garden - lots of room for kids and dog to run around. Food was serviceable rather that brilliant. Kids meals were generous. $15 lunch specials were a bit on the small side but tasty enough. Would gladly come again.
