Portions were great and service was prompt, kudos to the staff there. Four stars because the Chilli Crab Pasta was too soft, not close to Al Dente at all.

Don't understand what the fuss is about this place neither how the ratings can be so high?!? Whoever stated this place to serve world-class food has clearly never been out of Albany.Food was not horrible but nothing to die for either. Atmosphere and decoration are below average... Not the experience you're seeking for when going to a proper restaurant.

Venice Pizza Bar & Restaurant
Ordered a takeout pizza and pasta dish. Both were so fresh and delicious with generous portions. Have to mention the pizza dough was amazing too. The service was excellent, warm and welcoming and they kindly adjusted some ingredients in the pasta dish for us without any issues. I would highly recommend eating here if you're in Albany. Definitely worth a visit.

We had dinner at Little Italy (amazing and recommended) the night before and saw that this place had a higher rating so we decided to give it a try. Ordered the cacciatore sausage and beef tortellini. The sausage was way too tough to our liking, tougher than most jerky. When it came to the tortellini, it tasted bland and felt like we were just eating plain flour. Initially, we thought the pasta had too much flour, however we realised it was the beef paste inside which was dry and tasted like undercooked pasta (see picture). Honestly, a very bad and disappointing experience.Service on the other hand was excellent. The server was very attentive. Once we said we were sharing, side plates were brought to us. The mains were also split into two bowls from the kitchen.The other patrons looked like they were enjoying their meal, so maybe if you do decide to give this place a try, I do not recommend the cacciatore sausage and the beef tortellini. If you're looking for good pasta, I would recommend Little Italy.

Servings are large, food was tasty crumbed mushrooms were nice, chilli prawn pasta lacked in flavour. Peri pizza would order again.

A true taste of Italy in Albany. We had an amazing dinner and were welcomed by the staff right away. All the staff were very friendly and our food came out quickly and was fresh and tasted delicious .crumbed mushrooms were the best and scotch fillet cooked perfectly. Chicken marsala was so yum.

Absolutely top notch.Owner was welcoming and courteous, we rocked up without a booking and they couldn’t accommodate us inside the restaurant but offered us a table outside and we gladly took it. Also Offered us a bucket of ice for our wine.It just got better from there, our waitress was fantastic and food was great. Highly recommended.

Yummy food, generous serving portion, well priced & very good service - James was awesome!! Crumbed mushroom, chilli mussels, chilli crab linguine, and spaghetti alle marinara were very good.I wish their pasta was more al dante on all the dish mentioned and it will be 5 stars.Missing photo - coffee, bailey and macadamia gelato - it was sooo good. ❤️❤️itA Must visit place in Albany.
