My family and I come to the Whitsunday terraces hotel every year, and we always love it. The rooms have a epic view of the ocean and the pool is phenomenal and is very good for if you would like to play a game of Marco Polo.

Ensure you book one of the newly renovated rooms to ensure that you get something modern. Balconies are still original but the view will ensure you forget that part.

We loved staying here! Very close to everything and the views are awesome.This is perfect for a restful stay with all the amenities we needed. We had a washer in our unit and drying rack. There is a kitchen with cooking appliances as well. The room itself is very spacious!

Suite 11A had a disgusting bathroom with black mould (?) or grime in the grouting of the tiles.The door was either filthy on the inside or needs to be completely repainted.Rotting timber at the base of the hand basin unit.We are elderly and we were tired from our journey so we did not see all this really until the next day and we did not want to make a fuss to spoil our stay even further.Just know that the location is great for access to the town and beach but there is incessant noise from the traffic below.

Was a very nice stay, 2 nights. Clean room, Great view!! , staff at reception were friendly and helpfull. Close to centre of town only a very short walk. Would definitely stay here again.

Disgusting room, had to walk miles up hills to get to room, ants everywhere, door didn’t close or lock, bed against the wall, No coffee sugar or teaFan didn’t work and kept turning offBath dirtyPillow too highFloor grimyGecko in bathPaid top price for what I think is a 1 star.Refund was accepted but had to wait until the end of date that the room was booked for.

I had an ocean-view apartment and it was honestly perfect. The room was clean and spacious with a perfect balcony overlooking the marina and ocean. The service was always friendly and very welcoming. Additionally, Michelle went out of her way to make sure my room was ready for an earlier check-in. I had everything I needed and I will definitely be back for my next Airlie trip.

Whitsunday Terraces Resort
Receptionists were lovely, along with a great pool and view of Airlie from a bit higher up. Unfortunately the rooms left a lot to be desired, and we were quite underwhelmed especially considering the photos. Would recommend choosing a hostel if you're more social and looking for an affordable option in Airlie like we were, but the resort worked out for our 4 night stay.
