Urban Kombat in Marrickville is a friendly and supportive environment to learn Krav Maga. Regardless of your experience level, there is always something to learn from Garth. Completing the gradings from P1-P5 is also an extremely rewarding experience.Garth inspires confidence and he knows his craft very well. He is an amazing instructor and always strives to bring the best out of people. The students are very supportive of each other.

I recommend all to come and join Krav Maga. Instructor Garth is very knowledgable, thorough and articulate in the classes. I get to train with friendly peers from all skill levels and experiences.Being a complete beginner in martial arts/self defence, I have seen solid progress in my short few months training and going through the grading process!Give it a go!

My son started with Krav Juniors when he was just 6 years old and has now achieved 4 belts in the process. Garth has been a great mentor and teacher for him and its only that we are moving interstate we are leaving Urban Kombat. My son is keen to continue his journey of Krav Maga the sport when we move all thanks to his experience at Krav Juniors.

I've found these classes to be incredibly informative and practical. As someone who hadn't done team sports or contact sport I was apprehensive about joining as I didn't want to get hurt. What I found was a group of people helping each other out, learning together and having a good time.

Garth is a great teacher and leader- very welcoming, supportive and motivating. The course is able to be followed by all levels of competency and is highly recommended for anyone wanting a mix of fitness, movement and confidence.

After joining Urban Kombat just over half a year ago I feel like I've gained a tonne of experience from Garth's knowledgeable and fun classes, it's also a great form of cardio. As a beginner in any form of martial arts I've picked up important self defence life skills from krav maga that has brought me a lot more confidence in everyday life.Garth has been an absolutely excellent instructor and the classes are always very welcoming and filled with really nice people, everyone is very supportive of each other in the hopes that we all improve. Had a great time learning Krav Maga at urban kombat with Gareth. Learnt some awesome techniques for self defence which are very useful for real life situations you might encounter.

Such an awesome experience to be training with Garth. He's a brilliant instructor and really knows how to get the best out of you.
