I waited more than 20 minutes for the order and when I talked about it, they said it had no theirs business . I couldn't work because of them and it was very rude. If you'd told me earlier, I wouldn't have waited half an hour

This Red Rooster is excellent. The staff are usually very attentive and my order is usually 100% correct. There is a wide variety of chicken options on the menu, so there should be something to suit most tastes. The food is always nice and fresh and presented well. Additionally, the wait times are usually short as well. If you are feeling like some chicken, then this is the place for you.

Honestly I think this red rooster store is great. The fired chicken is better than KFC, at the very least more consistent. Their hot and spicy chicken is to die for. Got some burgers the other day and they are delicious. Grab the red rooster app for regular deals!

I have had Red Rooster for about 10 years now. Because their main competitor KFC has always done a better job making similar food.However, they still are popping up stores so I figured they must be doing something right or changed their recipe. Decided to give it a try again.Upon walking it, it was like walking into an deserted old western salon. No one there except 2 members of staff that stared at me awkwardly like wow an actual customer".Ordered a 3-piece box which cost me $18.90. Honestly was surprised as the equivalent box at KFC is $14.45. Was advised that hot and spicy costs extra too (the cashier didn't even know how much extra). Asked for a serviette and they had none. For a fast food chicken joint that you eat mainly with your fingers. No serviettes is a bit silly.Let's talk food:Chicken was ok.Chips were ok.Pineapple Fritter was delicious.Gravy was worse than coles instant packs.Overall

BEWARE- We ordered a meal deal for dinner tonight- takeaway. My husband returned home with the food and the crunchy slaw smelt putrid. It was off, out of date. The fried chicken was burnt and very hard. When he rang initially to complain the lady he spoke to was very rude and refused giving a refund.I rang spoke to the manager who said he would refund. My husband drove all the way back there to only be given $4 refund for the slaw. That’s it. So not only did we have an inedible dinner, we wasted time out of our night driving back and forth for what? $4.Do yourself a favour DO NOT attend the Moorooka Red Rooster. The food is absolutely terrible and the service no better.Never Again! Let’s hope my young daughter and husband do not end up vomiting all night due to food poisoning!!I only gave 1 star because I had to press a star to actually post this review. Otherwise NO STARS.

Quick stop before kids run, had the $5 lunch special, chicken a little dry. And also the spicy burger combo was decent nice size

Fantastic fresh food cooked to perfection. Small fine in area but clean and extra seats to sit outside. Perhaps they should be put out on a busy day?

Went to the drive through on the 7th November in the evening and ordered 2 large chicken pops.All was well until we got home and opened the bag to find it full of melted chewing gum!! The food was inedible as it was covered in the gum after a staff member clearly somehow left it inside the bag, and it melted from the heat of the food, also getting on our sofa.Absolutely disgusting.We called the store 4 times that night with no answer.I left feedback on Red Roosters online form, uploading pictures and requesting a callback on the phone (a tick box option).I recieved no call or reply, so am forced to leave this review while I consider my options going forward, as this was a gross health violation.See pics attached.

Loaded lamb fries is very average. Would have tasted better if they threw some cheese on it. Dippers box is pretty good but. Wings, nuggets and potatoes bites with dipping sauce! Spicy buffalo sauce was outstanding
