Never heard any good reviews about this shop, but I needed an urgent repair on my mobile rim. Saw the bike mechanic who was very helpful and professional. Job done quickly and all good. What else could anyone want

Highly recommended local bike store.These guys have been around in the business for a long time and they aren't going anywhere.They are not looking to make a quick buck selling you something you don't need.Instead they focus on high quality service, quality bikes and they have a huge range of stock.Expect to pay a little bit more for parts than the pure online shops, but they carry such a wide range, can give you advice on the right part and warranty to match it.I have bought a bike from here before and thoroughly enjoy riding it.I pop in every few months for a part for my bikes, when I need asap or need them to recommend a part.

This place is great for unconventional repairs; we got two air-filled pram wheels and a kids toy trike wheel (bolt and bearing) repaired here for an extremely reasonable price.

Charlie is the best bike mechanic in the area by far. He knows what to do, and understands perfectly my requests, meeting always my expectations. I've ridden 45,000 kms over the last 10 years, and his service has always been excellent.

Almost had to cut a ride short because the valve on my air fork started leaking. Came in just before 9 on a Sunday morning and the shop was already open, they were very helpful and got me going with a new valve and let me use their shock pump! :)

I collected my bike from Kuringai Cycles today. It needed a new cluster, rear wheel truing, and new gear and brake cables. Kuringai Cycles did a superb job. I have always found the service to be excellent, and the prices very reasonable. I highly recommend Kuringai Cycles at Hornsby.

Spent $1400 on bikes last week, kids only had them two days before one of the bars under the seat had come out and the seat was split underneath. They were both very accusatory. They said it must have been from a major hit but there is absolutely no other damage to the bike and told me I had to buy a new seat as it could not be fixed. After a while they did mention it could go back to see if it could be fixed through warranty but never gave me this option to begin with which made me feel they were just trying to make me pay for a quick fix.They did offer a 50% discount on the new seat (which was welcomed I guess and the only reason I’m not giving them 1 star). The man just walked off and left me with the lady who was too busy telling me off for questioning why they hadn’t mentioned warranty until I pushed it. At that point she didn’t seem interested in serving me or understanding my POV (still giving me a talking too) but I reminded her that I hadn’t paid for the seat (could have just walked out with it if I was dishonest). My card didn’t work so I gave her cash (which she was irritated by) she then started to hand over more change that I was entitled too (but as she just noticed her error I had already clocked it and took what I was rightfully owed.) For someone who was treated right from the start that I was being dishonest my integrity on two occasions was shown, more than can be said from them.Bought several bikes here before and never had any issues, sad we had this today.

Charlie and Kath are fantastic - always so helpful in attending to any bike issues and very prompt in repairing. I love dealing with them and have dealt with them for many many years. They are very upfront, honest, reliable and not expensive compared to other places and Im always more than happy with their repairs. Keep up the great work and great customer service - its a pleasure dealing with you and will always recommend you.

Very helpful and knowledgeable bike shop.I had a flat on the way home from a ride and was stuck without anything. They fixed my flat and trusted me to call and pay later. Way beyond what I'd expect from any other store.Good amount of stock of different bikes and products. Recommended!
