Not know to many and depending on the direction you travel can be a challenge or very simple drive

Accessibility from road very short but quite steep. Signs aren't legible. At the end of a road. No good turn around point for something larger than a 4wd. Definitely not capable for caravan.Actual carvings are interesting and very visible.

Chullawong is a really unique rock art site under a small sandstone overhang. The dirt road drive in has some rewarding views of overhanging rock formations, just watch out for mining trucks too!But as the only known rock art site in SE QLD from traditional owners, you'd think a bit more care and respect would be taken with a sacred 4000 year old site. It's an overgrown and neglected site with a rotting boardwalk, faded displays and feels it's been forgotten (but whats worse is some disrespectful scums have vandalised the artwork).

The access was quite overgrown. Bit disappointing... as we could not access the stairs...

I last visited 7 years ago and it has sadly declined since then. It's fine that it was quite over grown and that the stairs and decking are showing signs of age, however some @#$&-#+@ has scratched their names into the far right hand side of the rock carvings. Such a shame for it to last so long and then a low life do that.Lovely to see some history though in the parts that are still ok.
