Will not support this shop any longer as they do not accept cash legal tender and they have a tiny sign on their till to advise of this fact. The friendly sales lady turned unfriendly very quickly as soon as I asked about this.

Unlike a lot of other reviewers I have had only positive experiences in this shop, the lady serving and giving advice was very friendly and they have a great selection of mid to upper range kitchen cookware,As for all those snowflakes complaining about them not accepting cash how about you wake up and catch up to the modern age and use a card, regardless of covid cash is a very old fashioned, dirty and awkward way to pay, mature up and stop bloody moaning.

Helpful, friendly service from staff member at House Noosa Civic Centre. We needed advice on purchasing a knife set. We are very happy with the knives and service.

Drove to the shop on Sunday afternoon. Arrived at 3.15 along with another couple. The website said closed at 4 but it was shut when we arrived. Unimpressed with this. Wasted a trip. Can purchase what I was after elsewhere - probably cheaper.

Just sharing my frustration.Yesterday I tried to buy something from House at Noosa Civic. It was under $10 and I handed over my cash only to be told 'we don't take cash'. How is it legal to refuse legal tender to pay for something? I asked 'why?' and just got a shrug. So naturally I left the store without the item. Needless to say, I won't be back there.I've never encountered this, even in the height of Covid fears. What the heck is going on???

I can not believe how rude the eldest staff member was to us todayWe needed help selecting the correct option for us to purchase and the staff member was too busy having a personal conversation with the other staff member to stop and help us as we stood at the counter and were totally ignoredAnother customer waiting also made comment and we eventually gave up and walked outNo customer service at all and we will definitely not return to this storeManagement needs to address training of customer service as well as common courtesy !!!

Today I had the misadventure to be served by the most incompetent, under qualified sales person at my local House store. Had she not been so obnoxious I would have excused her lack of competence using the store computer to look up the receipt for my purchase (and now return) from less than a week ago. I purposely use the stores service of keeping records so I don’t have to keep paper receipts. This seemed to annoy and frustrate the sales woman more than reasonably necessary. This elevated my displeasure when she refused the help of another more competent staff member.I understand staffing is an issue at the moment so more tolerance is needed, but I don’t accept bad manners.This is my local store and quite unusual to find this lack of good customer service there! So I hope she avails herself to further computer training and minds how she interacts with customers in future.

Refused cash sale. So I bought item from another shop in the complex.Friendly professional staff.

Extremely disappointed that this shop/company continues to refuse cash, which is Legal tender & insist on card only payment. Unfortunately the shop assistant has to deal with the company decision when explaining this to customers.

Refusing to accept cash now. It’s legal tender! Covid should no longer be an excuse. It’s 2022. You should be ashamed.
