Purrrfection Grooming and Dog Daycare

Sorry I am disappointed. I understand that I was half hour late but in my mind I was on time. I was made to feel as soon I walked in you are late. I apologized really thought the appointment was 12.30pm. I booked online for a full groom, but I did not want to completely klipper them back as my female has just had puppies and she needs warmth for her and her puppies. I was told that she was matted, had not been looked after and needed a full clip. Unforunately there is not much of her and her skin and fur is stretched, which has caused the matty from the skin being stretched and giving birth. I requested a trim not a full clip. They were not willing to be negotiable and said that I had booked a full groom. The feeling I got was that they did not want to do a clean and cut and just the full groom and if that was not going to happen they were not going to do it. I said cancelled it. Was told will be charged 50% which was $80. There was no compromise or proper communication. Just felt part of a production and also felt being ripped off because they were quick to charge a cancellation fee for doing nothing.

We used this service while visiting Mackay. Our grumpy little dog was happy on collection, and enjoyed the day with 2 other dogs. I feel the cost is on the high side, otherwise good.

Visiting Mackay and family when Puppy jumped headfirst into a prickle bush after a run on the beach. Needed an emergency clip and brush to get all the prickles out. Groomers did a fantastic job and now puppy is prickle and mats free. Thank you so much!!!

Great staff, first grooming here for our 13 year old toothless girl. She seemed to have enjoyed experience and came out looking just right. Big thanks to all staff.

My little dog always comes back so clean and beautiful. She is a pomeranian and her clip is perfect. I have been taking her here every month for over a year now and I would highly recommend purrfection grooming. They are also so friendly in there.
