Attended the Rites of Passage exhibition here, was well laid out. Easy to get here by public transport and a short walk to the heart of the CBD. There was the option of food trucks at the event if that’s your kind of thing, else a short walk will get you to VIC Market. The lawns a very popular with families out for a walk and for photographers (the tree lined boulevard is a great location for a photoshoot).

Went her during the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show…it was on a Saturday and was too busy could not enjoy the show because we only had a glimpse of each showcase due to so many people. A bit pricey too! We could have gone on a Sunday afternoon which was cheaper and probably a lot quieter and merchandise could have been cheaper by the closing period. But hey! it would have been very nice showcase as I can see everyone taking pictures professionally. Loved the plants for sale and of course the food. Parking was easy underground the Melbourne Museum on a flat rate sorry could not remember the price.

Nice building. Would’ve been a shame if it became an exam venue, where students have to miserably get in and wait at the 3-degree Celsius weather with a bit of complementary rain, only to realize that inside, the gaze of the examiners are even much more colder than the weather outside.

Magnificent building to see and explore. One of the few UNESCO World Heritage locations in Australia. I was lucky enough to tour the newly renovated dome - which has not been open for a 100 years. Recommend you visit to see the history.

Beautiful building. I visited this place during the International Flower Show on 31 Mar 2023. The place was transformed into flower heaven! Must visit for a walk along the beautiful Carlton Gardens! It is just beside the Melbourne Museum, so you can easily cover two attractions in one day!

I was taken to explore the inside of the Exhibition building and had an amazing time exploring and learning about this place. The views from the roof were sensational, especially looking over the gardens. The history of this place is mind blowing.Definitely a must when visiting Melbourne, Australia.

We did the Dome Promenade tour and it was AMAZING! So interesting to get up close and personal with an important building in the history of both Melbourne and Australia. The views from the Dome platform were incredible- see pics - I'm very grateful we had a sunny day. The exhibition in the basement was interesting, and I loved seeing the artwork closer than I'd ever seen it on previous visits. This tour is a must do for locals and visitors alike (our group had locals mixed with domestic and international tourists) but plan ahead and book early, it you'll miss out.

The REB Dome Promenade Tour is awesome!! Highly recommended! To learn about the history of this beautiful, historical UNESCO World Heritage building! Everyone should do this tour! It can help with restoring the internal paintings too if the building which have ironically began drying out when the drainage was redone!
