Homestead Park | City of Gosnells | This neighbourhood park is located next the Thornlie Community Centre. A playground covered with shade sails and barbeques facilities are provided for small gatherings as well as picnic tables, a gazebo and a large open grassed area suitable for children's play, informal ball games or other recreational pursuit. The reserve is shaded by native trees and is easily accessible by pathways that traverse the length of the reserve.

Homestead Park
Lovely new nature playground for kids of all ages - the main attraction for our 11 and 14 year olds were the flying foxes - short runs but fun (and not over sand, which apparently they hate, re the after drag-up).Small slide, some cute piggy logs, basketball court, rope balance, swings, BBQ, tables and benches. I think the were toilets at the building near carpark. Beautiful grass lands for open play and running water in the river with birdlike. A pretty and new playground wed like to revisit.My only niggle, as the boys were on the flying fox, I noted the structure straining a little under their weight. They're not big boys, so a little concern being so new.
