Rustic, charming and a bit fun!. The server (sorry i didn't get your name!) was super friendly and very passionate about ABD. The wines were interesting and well priced (2 cases purchased for home). The tasting itself a great experience, with flexibility to try wines not on the tasting menu and the price waived when purchasing - so much better service than most others. Thanks for the experience.

The wine is delicious and on a different level to other Maclaren Vale offerings. A great option if you like your light red varieties and off beat whites. The food options are accommodating to ceoliacs and the vibe is nice and relaxed. I recommend the magnum of rose, it's something special.

A fantastic journey through wine paired with knowledgeable staff and a great experienceWe came here because of their alcoholic free flight (to accomodate a friend), but left absolutely mesmerised by the placeThe concept that this place runs on - an A to Z wine list - alongside some of the most friendly and knowledgeable staff makes this place a standout amongst many great wineries in McLaren ValeThe wine is delicious and the view/vibe compliments every aspect. I think this place is a must for a wine tour - we’ll definitely be back (for some more Sangiovese)

very quirky little winery. beautiful setting outside, green grass and a very impressive tree to sit under and enjoy a nice glass of wine.the man who served us was hands down awesome. they were very busy when we went and I have never seen anyone multi-task like he did. props to him! even through it was busy he was attentive, funny and friendly and you felt very looked after and welcomed.i like the idea of the letters and being able to try the set list

Came here for a tasting late on a weekday so it was quiet. We had a great tasting experience courtesy of the great staff who were able to take the time to work though the wines with us. Super dog friendly! The nero and sangiovese were our picks

Serindipity! We happened upon here by accident as they opened at 10am and the winery we planned to go to was closed. We loved the tasting experience and many of the wines. We never made it to the other winery as we just wanted to take our time here. Staff are super knowledgeable and passionate about the wines. Lots of interesting grape varieties and methods used. If you like something, snap it up as it may sell out!

Excellent service, with great knowledge (not many people in cellar doors know about bizarre grapes from the Jura). I regret not catching the name of either of the two people who looked after us. We were late, and getting out the door at 5:00, but they did not hesitate to offer a few extra bits and pieces. Super friendly and professional throughout, highly recommend.Hardly a winery with the most out there" wines. They take a different approach to some of their neighbours

Arrived on a very quiet day so there was no real atmosphere at the cellar door and a little awkward with the staff on for the day. I think Alpha Box has made a name for themselves on their marketing because we really didn’t enjoy any of the wines and later discovered they offer a $10 tasting advertised online but charged us $20 and didn’t give us an option. Quirky venue without any pretence.

The food and wine were absolutely wonderful.The place was relaxed and not pretentious at all. The staff made us feel welcome we had a great laugh with them. The tasting was relaxed but very informative. I can’t say enough about the staff Sam, Bonny and another wonderful lady who’s name escapes me (sorry)Highly recommend the experience definitely going againC
