French patisserie that's a bit on the expensive side... The food is good, the service is slow and the ambiance gives a feeling of comfort. It's worth a try but I wouldn't recommend it on a regular basis. #Frenchfood #desserts #pies #rolls

The quintessential Parisian Street frontage leads to cosy Cafe / Patisserie. Fitout a bit tired. Coffee was excellent. Good range of patries and friendly customer service.

Have loved this place in the past - but have to report some very rude service, by one staff member, today. I don’t need overly happy staff, but if felt like I was being an inconvenience by ordering. I was then overcharged and had I not noticed would have spent $16 on a ham and cheese croissant. The croissant was then mistakenly given to another customer - and that same staff member made a big fuss behind the counter which felt quite uncomfortable. She also loudly discussed how the cafe was in disarray when she opened up, and had a loud and very passive aggressive conversation with her coworker. I was offered another sandwich instead of my croissant but the whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth and I opted to have my money refunded (the other staff member handled that in a normal and friendly way). I WILL be back as I do have a soft spot for the cafe, but if I see this staff member working I’ll steer clear.

Varied options, nice and local option in Sydney Road. Came in the AM on a weekday and noticed the croissant was a little squished and the sausage roll was on the dry side. Might come back to try some other options down the track.

Went this Saturday morning and met family for pastries and coffee. The service felt a bit rushed and not too friendly, quiche wasn’t quite right and I was surprised when I was to $27 dollars for two little pastries and a coffee. Are the owners on holiday or something, when they are working it seems like a whole different place.

Prices are exorbitant and not displayed which I believe is dishonest hospitality practice - especially when the prices are so high. They had the time and energy to write what type of pastry it is, but not the price? Will go elsewhere next time, plenty of better cafes on Sydney Rd.

I love this little French Patisserie on Sydney Road. The coffee was so delicious. Beautiful French pastries and you can sit inside or outside which is a bonus. Pricing is inexpensive and on par with other local cafes however here you get to hear a French accent which adds to the experience. Good options for vegetarians too.
