Amazing skatepark with two bowls and a massive street skate area. Really enjoyed skating here!

It was a great experience, plenty of space, people, and a friendly atmosphere. Had a bbq right next door to the skate park.Plenty of grass for a picnic, Frisby, touch or just read a book. The ocean views are fabulous. Enjoy.

Loved it. Open spaces, lots of exercise equipment, drink stops for humans and animals, benches and green grass to sit and relax, sunny and shady, and lots of fun for adults and children.

Esplanade Skate Plaza is a great place to skate because it has 2 bowls and one has a shade and the other doesn't but, big and little kids can still skate there.

Esplanade - Skate Plaza
It’s an amazing park with so much to offer for transition and street. The bowls and drop ins range from easy to advanced. Compared to most quarter pipes and halfpipes, the drop ins here have a quite sudden transition and all of the ones in the bowl have vert of some kind. The street has obstacles from beginner to advanced and almost every ledge has square coping to grind, as well as some being normal concrete ledges. There’s rails and multiple stair sets, ranging in difficulty.

Great park with smooth surfaces for pumping up some speed and also street features, always super clean, and there’s volleyball nets, picnic tables, a playground, and even a climbing/bouldering wall.

Great bbq areas that are cleaned morning and night and its a prity beast looking set up for skating its also disability friendly we take about 10 to 20 clients for a relaxing bbq at this site every now and again. Literally good for any and everyone

Love the Cairns Esplanade. One of its key highlights is the Northern Activity Precinct. It includes:- Beach Volleyball- Skate Plaza- 3X3 Basketball court- Boulder ParkIt also has a beautiful boardwalk and walking and/or running track overlooking the Coral Sea.Has clean amenities (with wheel chair access) and drinking water fountains for our hot and humid days!!

Find a exposed aggregate footpath roll down it and that's what this park feels like incredible design but concrete is so worn I'd recommend wearing racing leathers if you don't want to grind your skin till ya vines are showing , makes sandpaper look smooth
