Lobster Shack Tasmania
While we were discovering Tasmania, we came across lobster shack restaurant. The food was fresh and outside, it overlooks the pier and waterfront.We got the lobster roll, seafood platter and Tasmanian oyster. We got lucky that we waited only 15 minutes for our food but we know a few people had to wait for longer.One disclaimer: if you eat outside, there were a lot of seagulls around. So be careful and watch your surroundings so they don’t try to get to your food.

Absolutely to die for!! Our recent trip to Tasmania included a visit to Lobster Shack as a highlight. Make sure to reserve a lot of time as the lines are huge. I loved it so much, I ordered twice and bought the shirt to prove it!

We had the half lobster with chips and salad and the grilled trout that came with fried sweet potatoes and salad.Everything was delicious. If I have one remark, it is for the salad dressing, which was way too much and sweet for my taste. Next time, I would definitely ask for dressing on a side.The atmosphere was great as no matter where you decide to sit, you have a gorgeous sea view.

We had the $50 Hot Pack, it was delicious! Possibly a bit overpriced, but it's a touristy place so it's expected. The fish, prawns & scallops were beautiful, the calamari were a bit average.We also got the lobster roll, it was very tasty and had plenty of lobster on it.The view outside is lovely too, it's very relaxing to sit out on the balcony.

Love the food!!! Extremely fresh seafood. The best lobster roll I’ve ever had. Everything was excellent, plus a gorgeous view, what more we can ask for!!! Definitely worth the trip!!!

10 out of 10! My partner and I shared the garlic butter lobster, seafood chowder, and the special seafood marinara. Everything was amazing, but the marinara was incredible! Best we’ve ever had. To top it off, we also enjoyed some gelato after :)

Best lobster roll in Tassie!We had heard about the Lobster Shack and it didn’t disappoint! We grabbed a table to take in the view but it was not long before our food was ready. We had the Lobster Roll and the Prawn take away pack. The lobster roll was really delicious and the prawns were large and super fresh!Would definitely recommend swinging by the ‘shack’ for some tasty seafood with a view!!

Omg, awesome food! All the seafood was so fresh and with generous portions too! We ordered the seafood chowder, lobster roll, their daily special spaghetti marinara & an oyster Kilpatrick (which was a little on the salty side but still good)Food & service all on point!

Located right next to the coast with outdoor seating (weather permitting). Friendly staff and fast service. We got the seafood chowder which was pretty good, albeit they were tight with the garlic bread. Fish and chips were average, fish was fried up nice but the chips were under cooked and dry. Premium pricing also as expected when you're paying tourist tax
