Shout out to the guys at Pymble Bunnings for helping me out the last couple of weeks. Have made several visits while undertaking home renovations and the staff have been fantastic each visit.Keep up the good work team!

What can I say. I sometimes think that Bunnings is a part of China. The place is stacked with about 98% Chinese made stuff. Lots of different names but all Chinese made. Cheap steel so the product has a indeterminate life. Sad really.

Olympia went above and beyond to help me out. I wanted something that was up on a shelf and she was able to help me out and get it for me to purchase. Best customer service Ive had in ages. A rare gem in today's often dull and transactional world.

To say it's a very big store would be an understatement. It's two levels with a giant travelator up to the second floor as well as large lifts. Wheelchair friendly, with a convenient multistorey carpark downstairs. The carpark and trades entrance are both on Bridge St.Inside, level 1 is pretty familiar, then upstairs there is a large plants area, BBQ accessories, firepits, and a quiet cafe tucked in the corner on the second floor with a kids play area beside it.Worth checking it out.

Recently I went into the store and found the entry staff and cashier staff polite and pleasant. However when I went and asked for assistance from a more mature male working at the electrical division. I politely greeted him and the response was a grumpy Yes". He gave me a cold response to my questions with a chip on his shoulder. I thanked him and said cheers to which I got no response. When I phoned the store number which was finally answered by the forklift driver on duty. The forklift driver tried his best to get the manager to speak to me but then agreed to get one of the managers to phone me. However 48 hours later no call back. I had heard and read that the General Manager on site is rather dismissive and does not understand that these matters are picked up by his regional manager rather sooner than later. As one by one the unhappy customers add up especially when dismissed and or ignored. Poor show as then individuals on the ground get away with such poor conduct. I know these grumpy individual from the now closed Gordon store. HOW ABOUT MR STORE MANAGER GETTING THESE INDIVIDUALS WITH COMPLAINTS HISTORY TRAINED UP TO THEN ASSESS THEM TO IMPROVE OR MOVE ON ELSEWHERE. NO FAVOURS ARE DONE BY SUCH INDIVIDUALS ON SITE GIVING POOR SERVICE AFFECTING YOUR PERFORMANCE REVIEW."

Opening day today (30 Apr 22). There are 2 entrances to Bunnings on Bridge St – one for “Trade” and the other for “Customers” so ensure you use the correct one. This is easily one of the largest Bunnings stores in Sydney. There is an extensive range of stock and the aisles are both spacious and well lit (something that cannot be said about all Bunnings stores). The layout of products is different to other stores so this will take a bit of getting used to e.g. the plant nursery is upstairs. This will definitely be my “go to” Bunnings store from now onwards.

Stopped into Bunnings Pymble the other day. It is one of the best Bunnings stores I have been to in a long time. It had everything I needed for my project. I have attached photos showing the inside of the store:

Not ready yet. Shelves still not fully stocked.Lots of very young staff members who are still on a steep learning curve.Lots of groups of staff standing around chatting and the cafe appears to be a staff social club. Not a lot of variety available at the cafe but that may change I guess.Huge store, lots of stock. Use the Bunnings app to find what you need. Quicker and more accurate while the staff are still in learning mode.I went looking for some 'opening specials' but I couldn't find any in the store or on the app which was disappointing. The garden section is the best area right now. Lots of stock with knowledgeable and helpful staff. The worst area was the tools section. Incorrect signs, distracted and unhelpful staff. It can only get better after the official opening.

UPDATE Augst 2022Sausage sizzles ($3.50) outside of the nursery upstairs! Makes the trip to Bunnings extra fun. Just love how dog friendly this store is too!----------------------------Review in May 2022Pet friendly welcoming modern mega size Bunnings finally opened in upper North Sydney. Don't know how we survived with the tiny Bunnings before.I saw many shoppers with their fur babies on the cart specially lined with form tile for paw comfort (adding to great user experience). There's a little cafe on the second floor by the garden centre. The garden centre looked great!!!

A religious hardware experience, praise the hardware Gods, finally there is a full size all bells & whistles Bunnings on the upper north shore. This huge multi flood Bunnings is on the old 3M office tower site and if your not familiar with this area of Sydney you may struggle to understand how to get to the entrance of this store. It’s a location that only allows limited entries. If you miss a turn getting back to another opportunity to enter requires some lengthy turn around via some of Sydney’s busiest roads. So my huge warning is do your homework before attempting to go here. This Bunnings reminds me of the Castle Hill Bunnings and when compared to the ratty small awkward ThornLeigh Bunnings you will never go to that store again. This Pymble Bunnings has a huge carpark, huge lifts between floors, a stock selection that will blow your mind, large garden & plant area a small cafe upstairs hidden away in a corner with a children playground in the same area.On my visit when going out to pay by the ‘self service’ area a previous customer had taken advantage of the loose security of exiting customers. Sadly I see lots of this going on at Bunnings especially during the face mask wearing pandemic times. With these huge Bunnings the staff are spread very thin and trying to find some assistance or info can be tricky Vs the smaller stores.Anyway this style of BIG hardware shopping experience is 30 years late in this area of Sydney. Let’s just be happy it’s finally here. Thank you Hardware Gods.
