Mad Dogs & Englishmen Brisbane - Dog Walking, Dog Training & Doggy Day Care

After many years of moving houses our dog, a Bull Arab cross, had become very protective and quite aggressive especially towards men. We feared that he was being antagonised by the postman at our current house, as there were many claw marks often found at the front gate! Eventually he bit a delivery man wearing a high vis shirt coming into our yard at twilight, ignoring our beware signs. I was starting to fear for the safety of any men coming into the yard, even welcomed ones! So you can imagine what Daniel the dog trainer at Mad Dogs and Englishman was faced with coming into our yard for the first time! Our dog, as usual behaved savagely at the fence! With patience and not much time at all he won Axle over!!! Amazing! After only a couple of weeks of training I found Axle alot calmer and actually waiting for me to walk through the door first! Honestly look at the way our vicious dog looks at Daniel lol! Daniel is absolutely amazing is all I can say! Everything about the company has been great, easy to communicate with and always very helpful!

I'm am soo happy I found this service when I did. Our little guy Teddy is a 16 month old Miniature Schnauzer and absolutely loves his time out with Kyle and Laticia!We had issues with Ted's anxiety around other dogs (tried doggy day care and obedience training which helped only a little) then tried Mad Dogs and Englishmen- with this type of socialisation he has really blossomed and become playful with other dogs and literally waits at our side gate for Kyle and Laticia to come and take him out (see photo below) We now occasionally book Ted in for doggy day care on the weekends on top of his weekly scheduled walks, because if we are going out on the and can't take him with we love the fact that he has a great day out too!The photos and videos of the outings just shows how amazing the right kind of socialisation can be!

OMG Kyle is Ahhhhmazing <3 He is so incredibly patient, knowledgable & clearly has a deep love of doggos. I have been to other trainers & felt that I was being reprimanded for my lack of knowledge, but Kyle was supportive, kind & very positive. I was blown away with our session & would HIGHLY recommend him for ANY training needs you may have <3 Josie & I thank you Kyle !

I would be surprised if I ever saw anything less than 5 STARS for these amazing people. Kyle and Leticia have been walking Our dog every weekday for the past 4 months and we have felt very happy and comfortable with the service we receive. Often times they will go above and beyond for us providing each dog with their own individual treatment. They have even worked with us to have our pup develop better habits and also come to help us out on what I consider short notice. I really feel like I can truly rely on them and trust them immensely. I was really impressed by Mad Dogs. I booked in my two large dogs Duke and Frankie for walks twice a week while I was on an overseas trip. They had a great time (as evidenced by all the photos!) and they had no problems. I was a bit worried initially as one of my dogs is anxious with strangers, but Kyle was really understanding and helpful, and his team was great was my dogs. Communication was easy, fast and personal. I highly recommend Kyle and his team.

I have recently adopted a nervous and reactive little dog, Lucy. We have been working with Daniel and she has made big positive improvements already. I am so happy with our training so far and will continue to use Mad Dogs for our training and dogwalks! Lucy loves Daniel and he's so patient with her. I highly recommend Mad Dogs to everyone!

I'm so pleased to have found Mad Dogs, especially for my mad lab puppy, Teddy, who is so full of energy that a big daily walk just isn't enough. He loves, loves, loves his outings with the other Mad Dogs so much--the Instagram photos posted by Kyle's team of him running and playing are just pure doggy joy. And my old fellow Humphrey--who goes at a much slower pace-- also seems to enjoy his weekly outing with Mad Dogs. Kyle and his team do a lovely job of catering for both of my special guys at their different life stages. Communication, reliability, professionalism are all A+ and I always feel confident my boys are in good hands.

Our young whippet is having the time of her life , socializing with other dogs and expending her puppy energy each day with Mad Dogs. She comes home happy and exhausted and we love looking at (amazing) photos of her enjoying herself each trip. Kyle, Abbey and the team are wonderful . We are so glad to have found you.

I have a 7 year old German Shepard X border collie with leash reactivity. Honestly I cannot thank Daniel enough. I loved the training session yesterday and saw such a big improvement straight away. He is very knowledgeable, non-judgemental and was able to explain everything in such a gentle and reassuring way.I have taken Lulu on 2 walks since we saw him and it is life changing!! I can't believe how quickly her behaviour has changed. I feel way more confident walking her and am so proud when she passed a dog and just kept walking without even the smallest reaction. I'll definitely be booking a follow up session.

The dog walkers are great. I stopped with these guys for a few other reasons.1. The van is not suitable for small dogs. They need and should get crates for small dogs so they aren’t being thrown around the van on a leash.2. The time frame for pick up is almost a half day. They don’t have any regularity with it either. Sometimes you can get an 8am pickup and sometimes a 2pm pickup. There’s no text or phone call to give me some warning about when it will be.3. The owner of the business is strange and rude. I’ve missed my dogs pick up time a few times because of the wild variations in when they come to take her. Now, I understand that means I’ve got to pay for it. I missed it, I was a no show. So I pay for it. But Kyle thinks it’s appropriate to be passive aggressive about the missed day. His texts made me really uncomfortable. I’m not about to pay someone to make my life difficult. I do that for myself for free.I recommend trying other doggie day care in the area.Edit: Kyles response is exactly why I didn’t choose to take this up with him. I did not get the impression that he welcomes feedback that isn’t 100% positive.I have paid my outstanding invoice today and reviewed once payment was made. This was why I chose to review now.
