Tella Balls Dessert Bar
Great location by the river - lots of outdoor seating which is a plus. Easy to stroll over from one of the many nearby restaurants for something sweet after dinner. Staff were friendly and the menu choices were many and decadent. Reasonably priced (unlike other overpriced desert bars). We did wait a while for our food but it was busy.

*New Review*I recently took my son here for a lunch/dessert date.We ordered:- 2 Fresh OJ- Kids Chicken Nuggets & Chips- Gluten Free Fruitella Waffle- Gluten Free Choc Fruit Art WaffleI love coming here for a yummy treat. It's amazing having a Gluten Free option for waffles!My son loved the nuggets and chips and they were a great portion size. I like that there are savoury options on the menu for those that don't have such a sweet tooth.The waffles are thick and delicious and the toppings are really generous and delicious!Fruitella is my go to order here but I think the Choc Fruit Art may be my new favorite, I loved it! They had switched the kiwi fruit out for mango and I think the kiwi fruit would have gone better, but either way it was so good!!There are also different flavoured donuts, made fresh daily and a great range of gelato flavours.I ordered the Gluten Free Fruitella Waffle.*Old Review*I LOVE having a GF waffle option as it's very rare to get one. The waffle was thick and fluffy and covered in a generous amount of toppings!! The Nutella mixed with the strawberries and bananas makes a delicious combination. The waffle also comes with vanilla bean ice-cream but I switched it for Honeycomb Ice-cream, which was really nice!They also have GF pancakes. I'd love for them to also offer a gf crepe option.

Not a bad place. Definitely worth giving a try. Pleasant atmosphere. Manager & staff were very friendly. I'm not a fan of desserts in general though. Classic burger was better than I expected. Fries weren't that good though. Too short, thin and overcooked for my preference. Wasn't a fan of the mango smash. It split after a before I finished the burger. I'd go again sometime this year to try the other burgers though. Ofcourse because of the beautiful location by the river and the hype the prices are a little bumped up. Massive menu with a variety of different desserts.

Tella Balls Dessert Bar
We had a group of 13 people celebrating a birthday party. We arrived at 6:30 and grabbed a table. The restaurant began to fill up as the night progressed but our food order came out accurate and in great time. Staff were friendly and helpful. Portion sizes were generous and everyone enjoyed their meals. Looking forward to trying out more of the menu next time!

Just recently opened, this venue definitely makes all your sweet dreams come true.With a beautiful view, spacious seating area and easy parking, it’s a new dessert venue worth checking out!From gelatos, shakes, sundaes, waffles, pancakes to crepes and more, their indulgent desserts will satisfy your cravings in an epic way.I came here with my family and everything that we tried was delightful.The portions were generous with lots and lots of toppings (might be for sharing if you don’t eat that much).My favourite dishes so far:Golden gaytime waffles, Tim Tam waffles and tella ball shakes.Don’t forget to order the famous tella balls when you’re there :) Even the coffee is awesome too!

Went to Penrith store for annual Aunt/Nieces lunch date here. Always been impressed but not this time. Ordered savoury & drinks then the obligatory dessert after. Staff were all young, which isn't a problem, only that none looked like they wanted to be there, all behind the counter & the reception counter as you walk in, spent the majority of the 1.5 hrs we were there, all eating. Maybe they don't get breaks but looked very unprofessional, especially when a drink was forgotten on first order, then when 2 desserts in the second order were near finished, had to go up to ask where the third dessert was. Interrupted them from still eating behind the counter, and was obvious dessert was forgotten & when came, wasn't as the menu said. Felt like customers were a nuisance. Again, I have no problem with younger staff but think needed a Manager there to oversee as chatting & eating seemed to be more important than the customers. Will rethink our next lunch as not a cheap experience considering the service we got this time.EDIT: Thank you for acknowledging my review. I certainly don't have any problem with staff hydrating or even eating, just that it could have perhaps been one at a time when it was cooked food more like a meal, not fruit, and customer orders not complete.

Not the best experience here I have to say. On walking in the venue was dirty and smelt dirty. The staff were young and had to wait 5 mins to be served as the young girl said she needed to finish her story to her co worker. Then when ordering I wanted a waffle cup with my choice of ice cream, was told I can’t I have to choose from the selection that is advertised. So I did and ordered two coffees. Ice cream was nice and enjoyable but the rest of the experience was very disappointing. We would not of stayed if we didn’t have a craving for ice cream. Would I hurry back or recommend to anyone probably not.

Visited today 07/06/23 ordered just before an influx of people came in. Even tho there was a small delay, both the owner and his lovely staff member were fantastic. Service was amazing, meals were beyond generous and delicious. We will definitely be back when we are next down from QLD!

Start with the bad I guess;Food could be better, burger was way over sauced felt like all I could taste sometimes. It's a disappointment because I feel like your beef patties are phenomenal let the meat speak for itself the ingredients are amazing just go easy on the sauce. I got the Tella Balls burger the top one on the menu as I said the beef is 10/10. The good; service was amazing and the cheesy bacon fries next level.
