Avoid Steve at Topcat automotive .He lies a lot and waist your time.He kept me waiting 31 days to provide a simple Road Worthy Certificate.I left my van with him for RWC and my car didn’t have any mechanical issues at all.Except the ignition minor problem which was fixed by lock smith in only 5 minutes in top cat automotive.What Steve did on my car during 31 days? He asked for $500 deposit at the first date.He did nothing until the last day.on the last day, I had to go to his shop to do the things on my car by myself.Steve only changed 3 wipers, replacing a tail gate light and then signed the RWC And never gave me an invoice.As it was my business van, I could not work for 31 days because Steve is a very dishonest, immature and irresponsible man.AVOID this business

Steve really helped me out when my alternator was on the way out. I wasn’t able to make it to work and he managed to fit me in on the day and put in a new alternator for a fair price. Very timely and good customer service. Couldn’t recommend the Top Cat team any higher.

Buying a used car is not straight forward and patience proves to be the key here. As they often run busy, after a lot of follow-up, I was able to get hold of Steve and to get the outstanding issues resolved. The roadworthy done from the workshop can be relied upon. You need to be a lot patient than usual but based upon the things you want fixed, it may be worth the effort. For me it took almost a week to be able to speak to Steve and another week to get the things fixed.I recommend to use the services of TopCat Auto for roadworthy certificate for their professionalism and honouring their issued roadworthy certificate.

I was directed here by another mechanic and only had a brief conversation with Steve.He gave me some sound advice in buying a used car and the service he provides in pre-purchase inspection.I didn’t get to take the car to see him out of change of circumstance but I am really impressed by Steve’s readiness to help out a future client.To me that’s great service. If you are looking for a honest and great mechanic, look no further! Steve at Topcat Automotive is fantastic, and i cannot recommend him and his company enough. Taking my car to the mechanics I always brace myself, what little or big issues could pop up costing a small fortune? It seems there is always something to be found that will leave my pocket light and add to the cost of having my car serviced or looked at. Or what if something is wrong and safety hazards are overlooked in favor of a quick service (with unnecessary altough expensive items added to the bill - you know the extras I am referring too!). Worries be gone, I have found the unicorn of mechanics, and a few visits in, there is no chance i will be taking my car elsewhere. Please give Topcat a go, and when you do, treat Steve and his team with the outmost respect, good people are hard to find.Sara
