Barham Bridge Motor Inn

Ruined our family holiday .clean but so unfriendly. Cousins were having a great time in the pool .Seems like they don't like noise and people have fun .Been going there on and of for 27 years we were kicked out after 4 days yes son-in-law shouldn't of jumped the pool fence.33 degrees at 8.15 at night told pool closed at 8.30 then after he jumped the fence were told dusk or whatever time they like.if you want to have a good time especially between Christmas and new year .DO NOT GO THERE

My husband, out pet dog & I have spent a few days in beautiful Barham, our motel was so quiet, the staff were very friendly & helpful, our room was pet friendly, spotless.. they are in the middle of renovations, look forward to returning

Pet friendly accommodation, friendly service and family orientated. Great location too

New owners have taken over and are already making fantastic progress on updating the motel, I so look forward to seeing it when we next come through the area. Thank you Alan and Brenda!

I am from a non Anglo background and unfortunately the lady at reception , the owner I guess, did not show much respect towards my inquiry. I dont think they are used to having people from ethnic backgounds in that town. So the receptionist showed a negative attitude towards me, in front of my partner, who is Anglo. She spoke only to him.There was a notice in the room, I was in, which indicates that guestS SHOULD wash all cultlery, cups and plates. There is hardly any cutlery in the room, nor cups or glasses. If people do not wash those items, when they leave they would incurr in a fine

We stayed here a few weeks ago. They have new owners which are very rude. In the morning we would say good morning and they would just look at us. They were rude from the start no people skills. The pool was so dirty the whole stay it was cloudy and I couldn't see my kids when they went under water. The rooms are very run down and dirty. We had white towels in the room which were stained

I have never seen this Motel looking so bad (30+ years as a guest) - very sad. I am the sort of person that doesn't complain much, but I feel that I owe this review to the return guests that expect to see this Motel as it once was.Here we go........- All we could smell in reception was cigarette smoke like a dirty old pub. The owners clearly smoke inside. It looked and smelt dirty. Very bad first impressions.- Shipping container taking up guest car parking.- Cobwebs on windows inside and outside of our rooms. They'd been there for a while.- Our car space was taken up by a dumped, non-registered car.- Pool was filthy and the bottom of it was brown. We weren't brave enough to swim in it.- Tacky wall art falling apart and hanging from frame in our room.- Light fixtures in room didn't match and one was upside down.- Cracked shower tiles.- Loud air conditioner.- Rooms desperately need a freshen up and repainting.- Stains all over carpet.- BBQ area was a storage area for junk and oven in this area was covered in old grease.- Outdated, mismatched furniture.- Mould growing on upstairs glass verandah panels- looks like it hasn't been cleaned for years.Very sad to see as I had beautiful memories of this place. It is neglected and no pride is shown in the place any more.

Enjoyed a lovely 3 day break with the hubby. The room was clean and the young hostess was friendly and very polite. Yes, they are doing renovations which will be a great benefit to the Motel and the pool looked fantastic getting ready for the next school holidays which I'm sure the kids will enjoy. Lovely scenery opposite for a quick stroll along the Murray banks.

Its really good that they have pet friendly rooms

Great location to take the Family for a riverside getaway. Has all the essentials with clean accommodation and a relaxed atmosphere. The hotel gardens are also very well maintained and have a creative touch to the design. A must see for the keen gardener.The Hotel also includes an inground pool with all the little extras to entertain the kids! There are BBQ facilities available and a fully functional outdoor Kitchen, free for use of all guest.Add to that the great riverside views and full access to the Murray River...what else could you ask for?
