This was a gift for my husband who is passionate about warbirds.Dave and Norm have maintained this beautiful old plane perfectly.The communication pre flight from Dave was excellent.Both friendly and knowledgeable.The flight was tailored to what my husband wanted to do, some aerobatics at the beginning, above the airport so we could see, then he was allowed to take control of the aircraft for a while.Thank you so much. My husband will be talking about it for months.Thank you so much for the experience. The spectators enjoyed it too.

Utterly awesome!!! Ever wondered what it was like to fly in a WW2 plane? Or just want to view the majesty of the Blue Mountains from the air in style (including some interesting angles)? Or just give a gift, that to be honest, is pretty unique? Then go book a flight now or buy a gift card for someone special!Breathtaking and stunning and I could go on - from the moment you see the plane close up, to briefing, to strapping in and take off, to the view, to barrel rolls, to the view again, to folks waving and taking photos as you land I can't recommend this enough!!

This experience was just great!David and Norm were fantastic and the whole experience was super enjoyable. From learning a bit about the history of the plane to, needless to say, the actual flying.The views were great and the optional aerobatics felt like being in a movie.Truly a unique experience. Totally recommended!

This experience was absolutely amazing. Received this flight as a gift and wow, has to be the best gift experience I have ever done.Norm and David are sensational people, and really flexible to cater the experience just for you.It offers more value for money than what you initially bargain for - the time both Norm and Dave spend explaining the history of the aircraft and answering your questions, plus I even got extra seat time up in the sky.100% would do this again and would recommend others to enjoy this experience of a lifetime.Thank you Dave and Norm,CheersJordan

This was a birthday gift for my husband who is a bit of a WWII history buff. What an experience!! Norm and David were very welcoming and knowledgeable. Miss Fire, our T6 fighter training plane, was polished to perfection and the smile on hubby's face was worth every dollar and more. The aerobatics were a bonus and once in a lifetime thrill. A very accessible and safe experience which we highly recommend. Thanks Southern Warbirds for a fabulous memory.

Dad was given this experience for his 60th birthday and loved every bit. He described it as an exhilarating experience and Dave as a fabulous pilot who made him feel safe but also able to enjoy all the flight had to offer inclusive of acrobatics and amazing views.

Southern Warbirds is simply amazing! If you need a special and memorable gift for someone (even for yourself) you should do this! David and Norm are fantastic - they won't let you not have the best flight experience. You can even add aerobatics if you feeling a bit Maverick!
