Completely incompetent. No communication, only the auto reply msg. Ignore your inquiry.After more than 10 calls, finally got their ETA, but although they said they will come within next 15-20mins. They didn’t show up till 3hors later!!!!! They will ruin your day, if you are busy person. We already share this feedback to the real estate agencies not to renewal the contract with this company.

The efficiency, communication & accommodating attitude of all team members has been second to none. Peter has gone above and beyond to assist in ensuring all our properties meet the new legislation requirements. The whole experience would have been a lot more difficult without his help.

Getting a quote was easy, just had to answer some questions on the Company website. Jonathan came to install the smoke alarms. He was punctual and very friendly. He explained what he was doing and answered all our questions. It was done efficiently and the price was only half of another quote we got. We were very happy with the entire experience and highly recommend 1300 Smoke Alarms to everyone.

Scheduled to install smoke alarms prior to property sale, the text message notification stated this was for a compliance inspection rather than install. Tried to call and sent emails multiple times with no success in speaking to someone (voicemail only), to confirm that the booking was for the correct service type. On the date of the appointment, the technician went to the incorrect real estate office to collect keys, and didn't contact anyone to find the correct office, therefore not collecting keys and delaying the install by over a week. Finally the install was completed, however have now received a pretty rude email threatening to refer the amount owed for the install to debt collectors even though the due by date is more than four days away. Not an enjoyable company to deal with.

Dealing with this company is incredibly frustrating. They notify tenants of compliance inspections with roughly a week's notice but without a time. If the day that they nominate is unsuitable it is nearly impossible to speak to anyone on the contact number provided to reschedule. Almost always it goes to an answering machine and calls are almost never returned or they ring in the middle of peak business hours when it's unlikely one can pick up the call. I have even given them a window of a couple of weeks when I guaranteed I could be available... which sailed by completely before they decided to schedule another inspection that I could not accommodate. The cycle of frustration continues.I have allowed these people to access to property once in my absence but returned to find the door incompletely secured - so never again. Landlords might like them because they are apparently cheap, but the loss of a days pay for me more than covers a weeks rent so I feel like the overhead is being pushed onto the tenants implicitly. It's getting to the point where I am considering speaking to the RE Agent and seeing if they will be happy for me to get a more flexible service provider to do the inspection where I pick up some or all of the cost because it will be less costly to me than the loss of a days pay.The few times I have managed to speak to a person, they have been pleasant enough, but all of the compliance inspections are done by contractors that inform THEM when they will be available in an area rather than the other way around. This business model probably enables them to have low prices, but is the reason they are so inflexible. That said, there is no good reason why they should not be able to give at least an approximate time slot for inspections to take place at the time the booking is made. If they did, more tenants might be able to accommodate them.Overall, while their price may be attractive to landlords and real estate agents for compliance inspections at their properties, they are not very professional in terms of how each job is scheduled and this leads to a pretty poor experience for tenants.

Our real estate office has been using 1300 Smoke Alarms for at least 3 years now after poor experiences with other smoke alarm companies. We have always received a very high quality service, with all work orders attended to very promptly plus any reported faulty alarms attended to the same day. I would highly recommend Ian and his to any real estate or owner looking to either upgrade their smoke alarms to comply with 2022 legislation or to have their smoke alarms serviced.

The team at 1300 Smoke alarms are fantastic . Our PM company has been with the company for a few years and I can honestly say that the level of service has always been great. I cant speak more highly of Liz - A few months ago we had smoke alarms going off at a vacant property, and I had no way to sort the problem given very high ceilings. Liz not only answered my phone call at 10pm and tried to talk me through the problem , but she drove to site after 11 pm and sorted the problem herself with her ladder. The entire team are great and I cant recommend them enough.Thanks Ian and Liz and to the entire team . The team at Belle Property Bulimba appreciates your support and service.

Initially arranged (most of our managed units) smoke alarm installations with Peter who is great to deal with. Initial hiccup with smoke alarm sticky taped to walls however service is great if any issues and Connor the technician is 100% professional and efficient.
