Good atmosphere and venue. Very popular eating spot mid week. Great selection from the menu backed up by well presented good quality food. Only feedback being the dress standard could be improved. Too many work clothes and hi-vis shirts for my liking. Appreciate it is a mining town but good restaurant demand some standards.

Placed order at 6.50 pm in Resturant, was told there would be an hour wait which was understandable (front bar had a trivia night with bar meals)First meal (childs meal) arrived at 8:24 burger patty over cooked hard to cut with a steak knife.Asked when Adults meals would be served waiter said there was no docket for our meals, waited another 1/4 hour asked a second time..we were offered tubs of kids ice cream before our mains had been delivered, chips and vegetables cold , one eye fillet cooked but barely warmer than body temperature others not as hot as it should have been.Servers not interested, and certainly not enough staff in kitchen considering there were events, glasses given were dirty, birthday party virtually ruined will not be back

I've eaten here 30+ times but last night with a table of 10 was so disappointing! We had 5 meals come out and they were eaten and taken away before another 2 meals were brought out and our last 3 came out with a side from 1st meals..the meals were perfect and delicious as usual but there has to be something you can do about 1 table = all meals at the same time..again compliments to the chef just sad they came out so lopsided. We will be back

Probably one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Ordered the Maraboon Smoked Combo Platter and to say it was underwhelming would be generous. The beef brisket was more like shoe leather and the chicken wings were luke warm and just as disappointing. 'Baked' potato seems to be a loose term, 'reheated meal' would be a better discription of what we received today. If you must eat here, stick to the basics and pray they don't stuff that up. Service left something to be desired, staff were confused and often left patrons unattended. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Prompt and efficient service, and the sweet potato and haloumi salad is delicious- I have had it several times and it has not disappointed. A staff member has suggested added avocado and mushroom, however I find that it is yummy as is.

If I could rate this place a no star I would. Ordered the rib fillet with calamari topper and it came out like a peice of old chuck steak left in the sun. Don't pay $50 for a steak here, not worth it at all.Customer service however seemed to be not to bad. You generally come for the food so book a table at the McDonald's down the road instead for an edible meal...

The pork ribs are a big disappointment, especially for $48. Everything else on your menu is delicious, but far from satisfied with the pork ribs. Still four stars as I enjoy all the other aspects of The Maraboon.

The staff never know the specials.Food come out of the kitchen not up to spec. Had dim sums, 2 of the 6 had no filling. How does that happen

Ordered smoked combo platter $40plus Side of chips $10 total $50 it took at least 1/2 plus to come out and when it did was just warm and meat was dry didn’t have wings they replaced with pork ribs which were dry like cured meat and a hand full off chipshad to ask was that the $10 bowl of chips waitress went back and brought us another bowl of HOT chips saw head chef and complained and he just said Sorry
