I came here for dinner with my mum while we visited Melbourne in January. It was such a great recommendation to come here from a friend. We had Miles who served us, and while his name is spelt incorrectly, and should be 'Myles', he can be forgiven because he was super friendly, chatty and a vibe. The food was exquisite, but waaaaaaay too much for us to finish (we had the set menu of what felt like 700 courses). It was honestly amazing, the quality, the taste and the presentation of the food. The cocktails were also perfect. Low-key wanted to take the little glass with designs on it - because how beautiful is it (pictured)! We loved the food, the service, the music and the vibe of this place. I'd love to visit again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Pastuso. We went with the set meal. It is on the expensive side but we were incredibly full by the end and the dishes were great. Tres Leches at the end was gorgeous. I’m not vegetarian however, the sweet potato had incredible flavour. I’d love to know how it is prepared. We got there around 8:15 and left around 10:30pm; we weren’t rushed, which was great. The service was good, a nice mix of friendly and professional. 5 stars would have been given if it was not as expensive. We would definitely return for a special occasion.Accessibility: The restaurant is at the end of an angled lane that would likely be very difficult in a manual chair without assistance. Cars cannot go down the lane to get you closer to the restaurant. Once inside, it was easy to maneuver in a wheelchair, no steps, but slight angled floor. I am not sure if there is an accessible bathroom. There is a variety of seating available, standard chairs and higher stools at a bar.

My wife and I were gifted dinner here as a wedding present and it was simply amazing. A really positive energy walking in, friendly staff who took the time to explain what was what with good humour and attentiveness but not invasive. The food was mouth wateringly good, steak was perfect.Overall we loved it and would go back again!

Beautiful restaurant with an interesting selection of food and friendly service. If you like ceviche, this place is heaven as it has a dedicated ceviche bar with 6-7 different types. We had the snapper, octopus and tuna ceviches and each one was unique and had a completely different flavour profile.Every dish we had was delicious and was interesting in its own right.Would love to come back and try the rest of the menu! Just beware, they had limited stock of ingredients so some of the dishes we wanted to order had sold out.

This place is great! We had the set menu, along with some pisco sours and other fun cocktails. Every dish was delicious, but the beef skewers and tres leches cake were highlights.

I can't tell you if it's authentic but to I loved most of the food I had. Great presentation with great flavors to match. My favorites are Pastel De Choclo, Chicharrón De Chanco, El Pollo, Arroz Con Conchas and their 800g Rib Eye.

Food and service was amazing! The waiter was so accomodating to the dietary requirements of my pregnant friend. They offered to cut a portion of some of the steak and lamb to cook them well done so she would not miss out.

This has got to be one of the best restaurants in Melbourne! The staff are all so friendly and accommodating, the food takes you to Peru and the atmosphere is amazing.Prior to getting to the restaurant, I had to make many changes to my booking due to schedule changes, and yet the staff were always happy to help with my booking. We also had to catch a flight after dinner and they even suggested the right amount of time so that we could enjoy our food without rushing for our flight. They were happy to hold our luggages whilst we ate. Throughout the experience, staff were consistently attentive and the pacing of the food was perfect. The food was amazing, all the flavours were well balanced. There's a reason they're known for their ceviche's, each one was made with fresh ingredients and sauces were not overpowering, they still heroed the main protein. We got the 1kg tomahawk and that also did not disappoint. Cooked to perfection, the meat just melted in our mouths and the charred flavour was incredible, it didn't need any accompanying sauces. And of course, the pisco sours were incredible. There are many different types, but the original was my favorite, one of the best pisco sours I've had.I would definitely return to Pastuso when I'm next in the area. It's the closest to Peru we can get whilst in Australia.

A Peruvian cuisine is something I've never tried before. I was surprised and impressed with the flavours found in this delicious cuisine. An aesthetically pleasing resturant with neon art filled walls and tantalising flavours to treat your tastebuds. The restaurant has an open kitchen view where you can watch the chefs prepare and decorate your food. The dishes are presented very well, the staff are very friendly and professional. I will definitely be back again with more people to share my experience.
