Jon is a very professional upholstery specialist. Our first experience with the company was about 15 years ago when they reupholstered 2 x 3 seat sofas. These sofas are still in excellent condition. Recently they have recovered a few chairs which we were also delighted with. I have recommended them to a number of friends and acquaintances. Jon is so helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company.

I was lucky enough to receive an upholstery course at Maurer and Strange as a gift from friends. Jon is an excellent teacher and I thoroughly enjoyed my three day course. He has expert knowledge and a family background in all aspects of his craft. I highly recommend this course for anyone interested in learning upholstery. Jon is patient and a really nice guy. You may even meet his beautiful dog Cedar while you are there. Thanks again Jon, I am so pleased with my chair

Jon was an absolute pleasure to deal with and delivered an exceptional result. Our couch now has a new lease of life with all of the base and cushions recovered. He came past the house to leave fabric samples, and was so helpful in selecting the most appropriate fabric. We would have no hesitation in recommending him for any upholstery projects, a total professional.
