Lancemore Milawa

What a lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating, both at reception (Sarah) and in the restaurant. We were sad to see the breakfast buffet gone, but we managed to survive. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful quiet hotel. Lots to do in the surrounding areas or just kick back and enjoy the gardens, lounge areas or vineyards. Did l say how good the food is?? Each meal was amazing and staff were fantastic. Loved each moment of our stay.

Boutique Hotel located in the heart of Milawa. Nothing to criticise. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms and surrounds were classy and comfortable. Lounge rooms and lounging areas were scattered around the property and were luxurious and inviting. The on site restaurant was excellent for dinner and the hot breakfast next morning was good (with the opportunity to order a second breakfast if still hungry). The on site pool and sauna were very well maintained and presented. If you choose an upstairs room be aware that there are stairs to negotiate but several staff members offered to help with luggage if required. It is not inexpensive but that is a personal decision for those thinking of staying. We were well satisfied.

Stay was Ok & nice but definitely not value for money. At $599 per night your expect luxurious not standard we experienced. Broken window shutters on balcony & cockroaches outside our room & stairwell.

We had a great week end at Lancemore Milawa. Rooms were well appointed and super clean. Massive thanks to Julie who bent over backwards to accommodate our Red Balloon voucher with a fantastic wine blending experience at Brown Brothers across the road. Akshay, in Merlot Restaurant, provided amazing service and could not do enough to make our experience special. THANK YOU

Stayed here 2 weeks ago for our 40th wedding Anniversary.We spent 3 nights here.It was Amazing.Staff were all so friendly .Rooms were great and so clean , the whole place was immaculate and so nice.The breakfast was awesome and restaurant staff were great.Could not fault anything and will .definitely be going again.

The staff went out of their way to make our girls birthday weekend super special. The rooms were nice and spacious and the lounge and outdoor areas were nice to relax in. We loved sitting in bean bags by the fire, wine in hand. The food was really enjoyable also.

I stayed at Lacemore Milawa for a girls weekend away, and as soon as we walked in the doors the staff went out of their way to make our stay a joy.The mini bar selection was impressive and the restaurant food was delicious.The room was spacious and the bed was super cosy. The share spaces were beautiful overlooking the gardens, water and grape vines.The hotel was lovely, a perfect location across the road from a winery and walking distance to town.I look forward to visiting again in the future.

We had an amazing stay at the Lancemore during our cycling trip on the rail trails of High Country Victoria and King Valley.What a find!The service was top-notch. Julie helped us switch our bookings and made everything so easy. All of the staff were superb and assisted us in storing our bikes and retrieving them as well as providing direction. They even carried our many bags up the stairs, which was greatly appreciated.The rooms have everything that you could ask for. Very comfortable king sized beds, extremely spacious and spotless.The dining room and bar are well designed and the food is absolutely delicious. We loved our before dinner drinks at the bar where the staff went out of their way to make our evening enjoyable. There was an extremely friendly bubbly bar person/waiter(sorry - can't remember her name) who made our evening there special. Also Lidia was a superstar who provided us with wine tips including wineries and cafes to visit in the area. It was so lovely to chat with her.We are planning to stay here again next year and do some more cycling. I'm sure the new manager, Michael, will have some added features that we can look forward to.
