Our favourite place to snorkel in Exmouth! We went here nearly every day during our trip. Definitely go at high tide as it can get quite shallow if you go at low tide which poses a risk to damaging the beautiful coral. We saw a turtle, reef sharks and plenty of colourful fish. Not really suitable for little kids (turquoise bay is probably more kid friendly) as most of the beach is covered by rocks / not the best for sun baking - also worth bringing closed shoes as the rocks can be quite sharp.

Great place to snorkel. Beautiful Coral is right up to the shore here. Just be careful not to touch it as the water is quite shallow. Only can be snorkeled at high tide. Sadly there was a lot of fin damage from people throughout the area.

Great snorkeling spot just off the rocks, saw plenty of coral and lots of varieties of fish, watch the tides.

Great place to snorkel. You just have to negotiate the rocks to get in (I wore reef shoes as there's no need for fins because you're right into the coral). Saw heaps of good coral, a turtle and a black tipped reef shark. Get there near high tide.

What a wonderful spot for snorkelling from shore. The spot is accessible to anyone, you need to be mindful of the tide vector entering the water at the risk of damaging the corals.Unfortunately not everyone is respectful of the marine life.It gets very warm in the day.

It's probably the best snorkeling in the park. Suitable for snorkeling 2 hours around high tide, otherwise too shallow. No waves, very safe for kids. Access is rocky, but the amount of fish and corals is well worth it. The current goes from north to south, so get into water at the northern end and drift to the southern part.

What a lovely spot to snorkel on the Coral coast. Water access requires getting over so sharp rocks, but reward is great!Area is very sensitive to tide, so not accessible every day. Make sure to check water levels online

Wonderful time snorkelling. Such a huge variety of fish. You can only snorkel at high tide. You'll need your reef shoes and it's family friendly. It is quite shallow, hence high tide snorkelling only. There is a notice board at the entrance advising you when it is open and when it will be too shallow.

You need to plan and come at high tide, even if you can’t make this (was 6:30am for us) it’s very worth visiting to snorkel around the area as it’s by far the best snorkelling on the cape. Saw so much coral and fish surrounding the oyster stacks. Make sure you bring shoes to walk to the water or flippers are the rocks down to the shore are sharp. Seriously worth the visit though!
