Saw Constructions

I have recently worked with Saw Construction team to build three townhouses in Oakleigh East. My experience is always pleasant. The office staff is very friendly, especially Katie who looks after me very well. My site Manager Viki who is also very responsible. The job has been done within 9 months and I am very happy with the quality and everything.Thank you Saw Construction Team. I hope we can work together again.

We engaged Saw Constructions to do a development of townhouses for us in Hampton. Wow! After all the scary things you hear about builders, we were impressed! Saw delivered on time, on budget, provided a quality job and their customer service and communication was outstanding. On all site visits the site supervisors were helpful and informative. On handover there were a couple of defects (normal) and we were pleasantly surprised at how quickly these were fixed. We have just signed a contract with Saw to build another development for us. We just wouldn't go anywhere else. Can't recommend highly enough - Saw Constructions lead the way in quality and service in the building industry as far as we are concerned. I am a developer myself and I have dealt with a lot of builders in the past but nothing like SAW. We had a wonderful experience with SAW CONSTRUCTION, they are really good at what they do and most importantly they know what they are doing. I do really appreciate their professionalism as well as being competitive in the market. There are not many left out there!Fine communication with the staff and site manager, very responsive and knowledgeable. No problems with their subbies and deliver great quality dwellings ON TIME!!! They should be proud of themselves, they really have a great team taking care of me and my projects.SAW is a builder we would definitely go long-term with, it just feels enjoyable and comfortable working with someone who you know will take care of you.

Initially I had a few issues with the new townhome built by Saw Constructions in which I moved into just before Christmas last year in Keysborough. It was very challenging and difficult for us to have the defects rectified and fixed given that time of the year.The building manager Declan and his colleague James reached out to me upon submitting the defects on the Maintenance Portal. The plumbing issues were resolved even during the Christmas blackout period in which we were grateful for as it was difficult to do basic washing, etc. as all house plumbing was affected.When Declan contacted me to do a walkthrough of all the existing issues in the house, he was able to quickly organise the relevant contractors for each area. He was also thoughtful enough to try and have all the contractors come in on the same day and same time to minimise disruption in our house. He was extremely professional in the way he handled it and was prompt in messages and calls.James was also great - he would always check in to make sure everything was fixed and ensured I was satisfied with it before he left.Thank you for sorting out the issues in which we were initially extremely frustated with. Our concerns were well-handled and we were looked after.

Very pleased with SAW, due to Josh Gamo, the site manager for our town home. His communication and promptness has been fantastic. If ever I sent a message with a big or small question/issue, he’d respond immediately and be right over to have a look or sort it out. Very grateful to have had such a competent and lovely guy to deal with.

We purchased a brand new townhouse which SAW Constructions had built. The post build maintenance service from Chris has been excellent and very responsive. Every time we have had an issue, he has visited our house to assess and repair (if required) the problem. He is always happy to answer questions about the build or specifics of the property and nothing is ever too small. We have been extremely happy with the service and ongoing support.

Shaun and his team were incredibly professional and helpful.We had a hole in our rental property, Shaun and his team were prompt with this replies and did a fantastic and faultless job repairing the issue.Couldn’t recommend them enough!

Think twice if you want to buy a property built by them.There has been a couple of roof leaks since I moved in this property built by them, leaking in the bathroom roof, leaking from the range hood and bedroom. And good luck if you can get hold of them to come and fix the problems. Said would schedule a time to look at my leaking issue a couple of weeks ago before the second COVID outbreak and never hears back from them, asking me to improvise with a bucket and my kitchen is still leaking like a waterfall in two weeks under heavy raining. Not to mention they never come back to paint the wall damaged by leaking one year ago, when I asked in message and email, it has been avoided all the time. I have been so considerate given it is a tough time in Covid but I would not expect a few weeks waiting to fix a major leaking issue and one year to paint the damaged wall.Edit: Ross and Chris came to have a deep inspection and fixed my leaking 2-3 weeks after I posted comments. Painting to cover the damage was done in early 2022. So the above issues have been rectified thus I edited my comments

UPDATE: nothing has been resolved or fixed in the last 6 month, since my initial review. People, who work for you, so called supervisors, are an absolute joke. Because of them you will get plenty more bad reviews soon. And instead of posting links , that don't work and looking for my name in the system- how about you actually do something. I would highly recommend this builder to anyone looking for a quality home at an affordable price. James and Declan was easy to work with and always available to answer any questions. The home was completed on time and within budget. The quality of the work is excellent and the finishes are top-notch. I am extremely happy with the end result.
