Gordonbrook Dam
Dam is a nice spot to take the dogs for a swim or a quite coffee to relax the time away. It was clean the time I visited all though there are times that it is not a plastic bag and some cleaning is quite relaxing to do as well believe it or4 not. Water is low but still pleasant enough.

Beautiful location that appears to be mowed, but the facility maintenance is woeful. Would be a great 24hr campsite and the local MTB club have done a great job on the trails. If the local council would take some pride and maintain these public facilities to a reasonable standard, it could be a real gem for the region and tourism.

The day we went to Gordonbrook was very quiet except for the sounds you love to hear around a dam......fish jumping and a huge variety of birds, ducks and pelicans. Absolutly beautiful.One important and unfortunate thing to take note of though......It comes complete with blue green algae....so no swimming.....bugger.Apart from that, the place is very nice indeed.

Lovely quite spot. No fishing at the moment because of the algie stuff. People were swimming. I wouldn't tho. Very dry.
