A great place to stay for $8 a night .Not much room and first in best parked up . A bit of a dust bowl but not bad . Pool is almost next door but not open atm .

Nice flat ground, amazing how people can pull in between others only because there awning is not out. Give people some space. The white posts at the back show spots between. We used a bucket for grey water and put it in the dump point as per info. Some didn't care..? Other site that will close because of selfish idiots...!

Great rv park, dump point, water available. Honesty system with forms, and envelopes, so bring a pen and cash. To be submitted via slot on wall of club rooms. Very popular, advice is to get there early.

Great low cost spot. Close to everything. Access to water. Toilets when club is open. Plenty of space. Dogs can have a run on the salt flats across the road.

$8 night great place, we got a courner site as we have dogs, and we did not want to disterd other campers.Food was also good and the staff very friendly. I recommend staying here.

We try and camp here everytime we go through Pt Augusta as it's cheap and safe. I have 1 problem with it, people unhook their vans and park their cars next to their caravans. Doing that, only half the amount of people can park in there. We had to ask a fella to move his car so we could squeeze in. There is a dump point, but no toilets on site when the club is not open. 2 minutes down the road or the many service stations are close by if you need a toilet, but you are supposed to be self contained.

A paid RV parking area for 12 - 15 vehicles adjacent to a sports club and oval in Port Augusta with a flat gravel base. Good facilities on-site. Must be self-contained.Time and Cost: Paid camp $7 per night or $35 for the week.Access: Easy access just off the main road into Port Augusta.Facilities: Flat gravel/dirt parking area with toilets inside sports club when open, potable water, bins and dump point. Good TV and mobile reception.Ambiance: Some road noise during day, quieter at night. No shade.Good location for access to Port Augusta at a discount price. Good for an overnighter.

This is basically a gravel car park with a dump point. Caravaners & Motorhome owners must like it because there were a lot of them parked. It may have been because the cost was $8 per vehicle & they could fill their water tanks for free. It appeared to be a free for all as I could not find anyone who was in charge of the site. Apparently you enter the footy club to pay but everything was locked when I tried to enquire about parking my camper trailer there. I wouldn't have wanted to stay there anyway!
