Ruck Thai Restaurant
Very cosy place. Food is well presented and tasty. We’ve been back second time within a week. Staff recognises and remembers our likings! Very impressed with this restaurant.Also, on the last visit, we left wallet behind. Fortunately, staff was able to reach me thru’ phone booking I made, and returned our wallet as we got into the car!

Best Thai around, they use plenty of fresh crisp veggies and the food is very tasty. Staff are always friendly and accommodating and are particularly good with our small child. Love this place.

Went here with very high hopes after reading reviews. Ordered lamb shank massaman curry for $26, the image on the menu shows two shanks however our plate came only with one. Asked the staff politely if there had been an error and was told the pricings have changed and instead they now put one large shank (it was a standard sized shank) and they have not changed the picture. When I said that it was a lot less food than the picture showed, the management then tried to suggest I buy more food when I had already ordered three courses (realistically 2 and half). We also ordered coconut water and it was packed full of sugar, my partner didn't touch hers and kindly returned it. When we went to pay the bill I realised we were being charged for the non-consumed coconut water and when I raised this with the waitress I was met with attitude instantly. Would never recommend this experience.

After a year of mediocre Thai lunches from the (now closed) place down the road, it was a pleasure to have Ruck Thai finally open for lunch. Had a cashew chicken stir-fry, which was incredibly fresh and not drowned in sauce. They threw in a free iced tea, which was actually delicious.Highly recommended, especially given the low price of their lunch specials.

You can never go wrong with Thai food but Ruck Thai reminds you was amazing Thai food tastes like. Generous portions and authentic flavours makes this restaurant one of the best. Located conveniently close to the main road in Rozelle, you will always find it busy and welcoming on any day. The Tom Yum soup is really really good and the signature Pad Prik king sauce is unmissable.

We went on a weeknight and it was basically empty. But that was fine with us! The waitress was very nice and helpful and my friends and I enjoyed our food.I had the chicken pad see ew and it came out hot and was delicious.I gave it 4 stars only because since we were the only ones I expected the service to be a little faster. But it's only a small complaint in an otherwise lovely night.

Next to no service. Room for 30 ppl but wait staff for 2 ppl. Left after waiting for 15 mins with no service. Saw that another table who looked liked they had been sitting there for a long time hadn’t been served. Went to the Thai down the road, immediate service, great food. My advice is to go there.Still my advice after getting a response from the owner is to go somewhere else. We waited. Other customers waited.

Our favorite local Thai spot/after ultimate frisbee team dinner!!! Consistently incredible dishes, every one of them top quality and delicious! The Thai creamy chili basil noodles are my ultimate fave, but truly everything is good. The prices are decent for the quality and beautiful plating. It’s upscale on a budget! The staff is attentive and patient despite the fact that we regularly bring in 18-20 people at once, always friendly and accommodating. Thank you Ruck Thai for continuing to impress! We always look forward to dinner with you!
