Ziba Salon & Style Bar

Brooke (owner) has been my hairdresser prior to opening her Salon. I had to follow her as Brooke is the only person I will EVER let cut my hair. Being fussy I know what a great job she does as I am constantly complimented on how my hair sits perfectly (concave bob). I love going to Ziba just the chat while having my hair done. She always goes the extra mile if I want my hair curled and I always feel great when leaving. See you in a few weeks. LS

While I have always been happy with my hair colour from Ziba , I have have to say I am very disappointed in the way the services are packaged up . I recently went in to get my foils done , which I usually get 1/2 head foils . After my hairstylist began she informed me she would only be doing 1/4 head foils this time so we don’t over process my hair . After my colour I asked if she thought I needed a trim and she said no I didn’t really need it as we cut off a decent amount last time . When it came time to pay I expected to pay less then usual given the fact I only had 1/4 head foils and no haircut . I was then advised the price was $340 ! This is the price I usually pay for 1/2 head and a haircut . I thought she made an error and i reminded her I only had 1/4 foils and no hair cut . Her reply was “it’s a package price “ ! Had I known I was going to pay the full price I would have told her to trim the ends of my hair , and as mentioned she advised me after the foils began that she would just do 1/4 head . No wonder ,she said I didn’t need a haircut , they do less services for the same price !This way of pricing is completely unfair, and you should only be charged for the services you receive .Unfortunately I will now be going elsewhere .

Having not coloured my hair for a very long time now I was extremely happy with the full head of foils I had done by Rhiarn.All the staff here are very polite and Brooke the owner has always maintained a high standard for her salon.

LOVE MY HAIR!I haven't had my colour done in 6 months and I have left feeling amazing!My colour is exactly what I asked for.I have very thick, long and blonde hair and my hair has been left feeling amazing.All the girls were lovely and I could tell wanted the best care for my hair.Would recommend them 100%

i’ve never left a review but this experience has been quite horrible for me. i came for a cut and blow wave and the cut was fine, no complaints there but the director stylist brooke (whom i booked specifically as i know that the director stylist has the most experience) decided to use velcro rollers in my very long, very fine hair. i thought nothing of it but when she went to take them out they all got stuck and in the process she ripped out so much of my hair. i was pretty surprised to then hear the director stylist say that she’s never done this, presumably use velcro rollers and so i was very upset at that point and stressing beyond belief as my hair is being pulled out and ripped from the rollers. i could only imagine that no hairdresser would test run some rollers on a new clients hair with no communication whatsoever. my hair was left in matted knots that she then began to untangle which pulled out more of my hair. it was quite a horrible experience and after all of that i didn’t even get as much as an apology at the end when i went to pay (despite her knowing how badly the whole situation was) it’s very upsetting to have long healthy hair but to have it all broken off and ripped out when a hair stylist should know better than to use velcro rollers on long, fine hair like mine. overall a really traumatising situation and very disappointed in the customer service following such a mistake, an apology and some ownership would’ve gone a long way. i wasn’t charged for the blow wave but still paid $57 for the cut, i was also there for an hour and a half despite it being a 45 minute appointment. more than anything i’m just upset my hair that i always kept very healthy is now broken all throughout.

Brooke the owner is such an amazing hairstylist! I’ve been seeing her for a few years now and am always in love with what she does to my hair. She is very skilled at colouring (she does balayage to my hair and I always get compliments on my hair after she does it) and cutting hair and always listens to my input too. However, I don’t need to say much because she always nails it and I trust her so much! She is also super kind and lovely, as is the rest of her team.

Alison is such a gift to your salon! She's incredible at making dark hair lighten up into a blonde like a dream!She's also super friendly and professional! I love her hair massages as well!Thank you for always making me feel/look incredible :)

The girls here are absolutely incredible and maintain such an amazing standard of work constantly. Always being as accomodating as they possibly can and exceptional at what they do. Kaitlyn has been taking care of my blonde for quite a while now and she’s been nothing short of incredible, as are the rest of the girls in the salon. 100000% recommend!!
