WARNING, Gluten free is not gluten free.They advertise their chips on the menu as GF, then cook them with wheat containing products in the same oil. This = not GF!

Such a gem. Yes the fish is a tad greasy but hey it's deep fried food! Interesting service model they have with a hole in the wall type counter and the staff hiding. Probably a covid thing but still interesting. Love the menu options especially the ones for the kids :)Some of the best flake I have had and we ate it on the grassy foreshore watching the sun go down.Bliss

Some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. I only suggest checking oil temperatures as the fish was oily though perfectly cooked (tastey and beautiful)

Great fish and chips, flake was just as it should be for the South East. They have a nice seating area to wait for your order and a pick up window, and you order by the door, so no entry required!

Good size '2 pieces of butter fish & chips' pack for $16.50 was enough for 2 people.Choice of battered or crumbled fish & a serve of tartare sauce and seating areas at the front & side of the business.Staff were friendly as well so an all round good experience.

Five years ago this place had my 4 star recommendation. It has clearly changed hands since then. What a disappointment. Chips were so-so and crumbed fish was overcooked (dark brown crumb coating) making it dry, plus the fish portion was noticeably smaller than previous. We had 2 of the chocolate cups as well which were half full making it a ripoff for $2.50 each. Service was dismally slow seeing we ordered and no one else turned up to collect other orders till we got ours. Why so long to cook fish and chips?? What a let down. Never again. How previous reviewers can rave about their experience is beyond us. They must be Wikicamps users who rate basic rest areas 5 stars. Pfft.

Not bad fish 'n' chips for $11.50. The batter was light and crunchy and fish quite nice. The chips where average. But the service was fast and friendly.

I haven't had a full sized thick flake in 15+ years. Look at my photo, I can t remember that last place where the ratio of fish to batter was so good.Staff are also lovely. Will have no hesitation in going back.
