Mega Meats

Normally l never have any issues when I visit mega meats which is quite often but when I went there today I was served by a young lady and I asked her if I could have 4 large pork chops and she tried to give me the smaller ones so I asked her if she could give me the ones from the front of the front of the window at which time she rolled her eyes and said but their right in the front " so I said so I said not to worry about it I'll just take the 2 medium ones she'd put in the bag. Then she asked if I wanted anything else and I said no thanks

My first time here and I was in wow of the prices.. there is a variety of different cuts and portions you can choose from that are good for value prices. There is a fruit and vege market right next door also.Forgot to get content from inside but next time lolIts a 20 minute drive from my local area but I found it worth the drive. Check it out if you haven't already :)

Some of the freshest meats available here, staff are also very helpful. Recommended for everyone

Went first time and was okay , went for the second time Saturday 4th Feb bought a lamb rack - 2 pieces in a pack for $16 with use by date of 8th Feb, come to cook it today 6th Feb and it's OFF unable to cook it. Straight to the freezer then to next rubbish collection. Not worth my time (20 min drive each way) to chase $16 but hey no longer have to worry about coming here ever again, won't happen

The manager is so rude to his customers. What ever happened to customer service?I will never shop here again.Such terrible customer service.Very poor quality meat at ridiculous prices.Fruit & Vegetables are old and priced to clear, as they are going off.Bread is old and past it's used by date.Reduced items for quick sale, are old.Should be reported.

Great customer service here - butcher and checkout staff, lots of smiles and friendly banter!Wide range of meat products in so many ranges of cuts, most are at great value prices when compared to supermarkets and other butchers too.Selection of premium prepacked products available, including what looks like homemade potato top pies!Frequent shopper here and never been let down on quality, definitely recommend

I have been shopping at mega meats for a long time now. Lately I have experienced overweighted meat at a staggering $40 difference, corrected by staff. I had bought $30 of herb & garlic sausages, cooked on the same day to find that they had turned, tasting awful, had to be thrown out. Today I found out the salami I bought use by date was the same day I bought it, which wasn't bought on special for that reason. I don't understand what is happening down there lately. I do know when mega meats do something well, they do it really, really well. I hate mint, but their subtle minted lamb sausages are beautiful. The Italian sausages are bolder, which I like & wouldn't expect them to be any different. The porterhouse steak are so full of flavour. I would like mega meats to be consistent, rather than the hit & miss experience. It is gut wrenching to buy your shopping, only to have to throw it out & buy more.

This shop, now very expensive and quality of meat has gone down toilet. Used to he great shop. Also the bleach use to clean so strong it give me breathing problems and burnt eyes. Not good, I know must clean shop, good they clean shop but that much bleach in low ventilation very dangerous.

I buy fruit +veg for my birds. Great variety and prices and bird always seem to get a treat when she comes. Thanks!
