Good cycling spot but watch out for horses as they have the right of way but don't move too fast.

Nice spot. Good campfire pit. There is plenty of firewood in the nearby Forrest. Has a useful table / shelter set-up. Unfortunately long drop toilets. It's a small campsite, we had it all to ourselves so it's great for playing tunes at 2am.

This is a great spot if you want to ride your horse. Great horse yards. Clean toilet. A great little shelter with a light on timer.

Great place to stay, however the toilet facility is a disgrace. Paying for the use of the ground and its facilities, one would expect running water in the toilet and supply of toilet paper. The toilet was absolutely revolting.

We've stayed here a few times over the years, always with a large group of friends. We're so lucky to have places like this you can book out the whole place to yourselves and enjoy a good sized fire at night, foraging and hiking through the forest through the day, a well kept toilet and just a generally nice space to unwind. It gets plenty of winter sun and the sun rises are awesome there if you're up early enough to enjoy them. In the future, I'd love to see the communal shelter be improved. It would be nice to have a bit more space to escape the rain if/when it comes in. The current shelter is really only big enough for one (maybe 2) families comfortably, but the grounds are big enough to host many families. Other than that, tip top spot!

Went there for a friend's birthday party. In the morning the rangers tried to lock everyone in and called the police cos apparently we hosted a dance party". Sure there was music but it was hardly a party let alone a dance party.. rained all night so everyone was confined to their tents and vans"

Nice and quiet... Would be better if they did some maintenance on the toilet facilities
