Jicca means home in Japanese, which is very fitting for this sort of restaurant. The service feels friendly and familiar, and there certainly is a very homely vibe. There is a child's play area as well so you can focus on your conversations without worries.We had ordered some karaage chicken, cabbage, some assorted risottos and pasta dishes, and the Hamburg steak and they were all exceptional. They have nothing to prove with fancy ingredients, it's just simple homely meals done right.My favourite was certainly the Hamburg steak, but you can't go wrong with anything else on the menu. Ask them for recommended wines too!

THE MOST AMAZING SPAGHETTI! After having lived in Italy, the mix of traditional Italian and delicious fusion Japanese/Italian flavours worked better than you would imagine. Super friendly staff and food came incredibly quickly, would definitely recommend

best Japanese / Italian food we have ever had. I had to stop myself from licking Mentai pasta plate. the environment is somewhere between casual and high end and ambient and price is very fair. Huge pasta selections.couldn’t recommend more

Delicious, everything was cooked to perfection. Pasta was al dente, the meats melted in mouth. Large portions and friendly service.

There are many great things to say about Jicca. The food is absolutely delicious here! The service is fantastic and the staff are very attentive. And to top it all, it’s priced very fairly considering how big the portions are. It also has a great atmosphere and is decorated very elegantly. Perfect for a Sunday lunch!

Had a lovely meal for my last night in Sydney, staff is very attentive, music is cute and the food is absolutely gorgeous. I accidentally ordered a dish with meat which I don't eat and they let me change my order. Highly recommend!

Delicious food that’s a mix between Italian and Japanese cuisines. We tried hamburger steak, wagyu steak, savoy cabbages, and brussels sprout. Hope to come back and try new dishes.

With the weather definitely on the cooler side, a comforting serve of mentaiko spaghetti was just the ticket to warm me up on the inside. Jicca Dining have opened up a small, attractively furnished dining room in Neutral Bay. Supplemented by chalkboard specials, this Japanese spaghetti house’s main game is dishes like uni wafu spaghetti. Toothsome pasta mingled with crisp nori strips and sea urchin roe, making for a simple and pleasurable pasta dish. Looking forward to returning!
