The reception ladies were lovely to deal with and I just want to give a huge shout out to Vet Cassie, for looking after myself and my upset little kitten. Cassie took the extra time to explain (in depth) all my options and things to be aware of. She was wonderful to deal with, would definitely recommend!

Absolutely horrible place. Zero empathy and just a money making business for them. You would hope the reason one would choose to be a vet is the assistance and help of sick and injured animals. Well there are plenty out there like this, but none of them seem to work here. Counter staff are rude, Lucy (I think her name is one of the vets) had zero empathy toward our sick and dying dog. Her bedside manner was horrible and distressing. Just an awful place. Obviously they get business from being one of the only 24hr vets around. Hopefully competition kicks in soon to give them a wake up call. I will definitely not be returning to them EVER and will drive further to another that has better ethics and service.

Early night visit required late night surgery and a number of days care for our dog. Couldn't praise all staff enough for care and attention. While waiting watched the wonderful team interacting with all visitors and patients

Yes they helped save my cat but they were just as ready to put it down on a suspected MVA though he didn't show the typical signs of MVA.The level of cleanliness was wow: consult room was so smelly with dry blood marks on the floor. Cat had been there for not even 24 hours and came back smelling so bad. He's injured so we can't shower / bathe him as we don't want to cause more trauma but the smell in his fur is gag worthy. Old dog drool smell. So obviously the level of cleanliness in the pet care area is much worse then that of the consult rooms. They aren't cheap and are super busy. How about you guys invest in a cleaner or 3 to keep the place hygienic. So smelly and gross I feel sorry for my cat with their sense of smell. Also, cat was taken in by public due to suspected motor vehicle accident. The vet I spoke to was leaning towards euthanizing as they didn't know level of injury. Cost of keeping him there overnight with scans would cost $2K - $2.5K, and if fractures found they would not be releasing to take home,, I'd have to agree to treatment costing $4K+ or put down. And no, I couldn't take him home before scans, or if it came back showing fractures. It was pay for scan or euthanize.I could see he was very lucid and euthanizing without knowing full extent of injuries didn't sit well with me so borrowed money and got the scans. Thankfully to find out only minor fracture at jaw joint but ok to be released. He's recovering very speedly at home.Including photos to demonstrate how he was practically clear of any signs indicating MVA except for injury on jaw. Any trained vet should have been able to see he did not exhibit signs of MVA to suggest being put down if I didn't borrow $2,500 to cover scans and overnight stay. They said he's got what appeared to be a tyre mark over his back! I corrected them and said he gets under my car and the black mark on his back is from that,, then they later said: he's sat up and changed positions. Would a run over cat do that?1st image is of him when he was taken there with suspected MVA as he was found huddling near some rocks. Next 3 images are after he's been administered methadone.Lastly, when I didn't have the transaction limit on my dad's card to clear the balance of the bill the next day I rang and asked if possible to get an invoice, and I was told they can't do that as the vet could lose its licence. I had to call around and borrow money to cover the $300 shortfall.Untrustworthy vets with dirty practice, on so many levels.

Can not recommend enough. The staff are lovely and caring, everything your animal deserves.Rushed in after Burpengary Vets said our little baby has to be put down because spinal issues, after 3 months of visits, for Northlakes vets to put the love and effort in to actually find out he has meningitis. Has been a rough couple of days, but they've been nothing but lovely helpful. Can not thank them enough.

Our visit took just over an hour. Parking is easy, reception is friendly, waiting area is big, and staff are informative and helpful. Everything was explained in an easy-to-understand way, and the vet who took care of my girl on the 19th of April '23 was very professional. And the price is reasonable, too - just over $400 for an after hours visit that included staples & medication. Recommended to anyone needing an emergency vet for their furbaby.

Lovely. Very professional and caring. Also very busy. Dr Jonathon very kind and caring and went out of his way to obtain further info as to the sudden cause of death of our beloved dog. Difficult to determine at the time, however, came back with info that made sense.

Can not say enough good things about the staff at QVS when our beloved GSD hurt herself. They got her in to see a vet ASAP and got straight into getting her injury sorted.Looking after her with heaps of care, even giving her hugs when I couldn'tThey sent her home with all the needed medication and the stylish cone.
