El Paso Motor Inn

I previously stayed here overnight pre-Covid as a stopover when driving to QLD. My memories of the motel certainly didn’t match the current reality. Service and room cleanliness have gone downhill in a BIG BIG way. The woman on reception was very unwelcoming and the bathroom was in a disgusting state with very visible mould and lots of hair from previous guests. I would have been disappointed if we had been paying a fair rate of <$200 p/night. Given we paid $350 and that didn’t even include breakfast or a complimentary bottle of water it was totally unacceptable. I won’t be returning.

Great location in the heart of Port Macquarie. Our room was recently renovated, very clean, thin walls meaning we could hear the neighbour and you really need to place a Reserved Placard" on the room parking lot if you are going out during the evening otherwise you could be parking on the street somewhere ie limited parking.Overall we were happy to stay for 1 night."

Fantastic, centre of port macquarie, well priced.Awesome customer service,Kids loved the unique lift/elevator, honestly I did too.

Awesome location. Don't worry about the room service as you are right in front of some fantastic resturants.

We booked a room on our way back from Sydney to the Gold coast. It was nice to arrive with a welcoming reception. The rooms were so clean and fresh and the service was so friendly. Room service is a bonus too. Parking was easy with a lift to the room. Would recommend it to anyone heading to Sydney or coming back to Queensland. Thank you

Only stayed for one night on our way back to Sydney, but found it to be very comfortable, clean and a great location to go for a walk along the shore, close to shops and restaurants.Staff very friendly and helpful and room service was quick with very good meals.

Great convenient spot for a family stop over on the way from Sydney to Brisbane. Accommodation was clean and had everything we needed (aside from breakfast bowls). The beds were confortable enough, aircon was welcome and worked well and the shower head was fabulous.

Staff STEALING Customers belongings shouldn’t ever happen and should never be tolerated by the owners/manager of The El Paso motor Inn.But in my case after leaving personal items in my room after checking out, it turns out to be a “free for all” mentality with cleaning staff and the management. Even with the manager going as far as to recite the Hoteliers Act stating that once the person renting the room checks out, any belongings left in the room is not in anyway the responsibility of the El Paso Motor Inn.So if you accidentally leave something of value in your room and wish for it to be returned, just expect to be berated, called a lier and hung up on.With such great front desk staff, it’s a real shame the manager lets this business down. He definitely wouldn’t have a job if he worked for me!!

Located directly in the heart of Port McQuarrie. Recently renovated, friendly staff, clean rooms. Only downfall, no microwave, otherwise a great place to stay and good value.

What an amazing place to stay. Great price and rooms very clean. Loved the spa bath. The location, offering of room service for dinner meals and cafe onsite. I will be back ❤️
