Time line was given up to 4 mths, not done after 8 so there've been picked up. Very slow, other costumers go to front of line. Not professional at all, not customer focused and unreliable.

Poor customer service and way overpriced.

Had my camper trailer re-canvased and the job was done efficiently and to a very high quality of work!

Cape Country Upholstery has highly recommended by our real estate agent when we moved to Wynyard. As they have woodwork and antique restoration listed as services on their Facebook page, I was looking forward to working with a local business. Really disappointed with Eduardo's efforts with my request to have two antique cabinets repaired and restored. After initial enquiries around October/November 2021, Eduardo asked me to provide additional infromation - including photos - so he could provide me a quote. Eduardo indicated the job couldn't be done before January 2022 because they were very busy. I told Eduardo I was OK with this timeframe. When Eduardo did not respond to my emails, I sent follow ups to make sure he received my information, which he confirmed he did. At no stage did Eduardo indicate he was unable to do the job, nor did I ever actually receive a quote. January 2022 came and went with no contact from Eduardo. Then - out of the blue - I receive an email from Eduardo on 15th July 2022 - offering his apologies and to say they wouldn't accept the job, because they were not comfortable doing the repairs and restorations. Nice to know I suppose. Would have preferred to know at the start when I provided the photos. I'm sure Cape Country Upholstery is highly regarded by others. Unfortunately, on this occasion, I received a poor service and I cannot recommend this company for antique repair and restoration.

Detailed work to a high standard, can recommend.

We recently purchased custom made foam and coverings for our Tiny House sofa from Cape Country. We are so happy with the product; it fits perfectly in the space, is fantastic quality and looks amazing. The service from Cape Country was excellent. We absolutely recommend. Andrew has done a few jobs for us in the past. Always good job. We need his expertises once more.
